ptjn1201 54 holes! Wow -- most I ever did was 45 in one day. I'm envious.

We did 36 yesterday, 18 today in an hour.

You look like orange marmalade in that gayazz blue sandwich.

At least it's not gayazz orange.........

I’m about 50 minutes from there and I’ve played there a few years back. Fun course.

Where did you get that PING hat ? Envious !

Picked up a TaylorMade 200 Steel 3-wood from the pro shop after I played earlier today - have had a couple of these in the past, it's a clubhead that I really like, and I have a shaft that should work pretty well with the head...

Another fairway wood arrived today - picked up a new Nakashima NX-1 7-wood clubhead off eBay, and will hopefully get it shafted up and ready to try at the weekend...

A couple of Taylormade M3 hybrids showed up ahead of schedule. Got a super deal on them, with 1 that I could not find, online or in store. Rex happy! (if he can hit them well enough)

I ordered a Maltby TS1 8i and W head and a few FST 115 shafts. Not sure why.........

I've been playing some of my best golf lately with just 8 clubs. These two Maltby heads make better loft gapping sense. When they're in the bag, I'll have 11.5, 21, 28, 36, 45, 52, 56 and putter. We'll see!

Any feedback on the ladies F7 you were making as a thriver? I was looking at some of them on the Bay, and it seemed like a decent idea. For now, I'll probably just cut down my square 14 degree Final I picked up a couple of years back and add another foot or lead tape to what's already on there. Pulled the shaft and it was 212 grams, I'm leaning to trying to get it up closer to 220.

        8 shoulder joint injections (left/right) and 1 tetanus....yay....

I ordered a Knuth High Heat 12 degree driver that I found on ebay. Actually lost the bid but got an email notice that I had a second chance at it for my bid of $72.01. I took it and it's probably going to be here Friday or Monday. I'm not anticipating that it will move my M2 asside but I was curious about the High Heat since they came out a couple of years ago. I figured for $72.01 it would be worth a try out. Besides, where else could I get such a beautiful BLUE driver?

        5 days later

Yesterday bought an older Callaway Fusion FT-3 driver and an Adams Idea Tech #5 hybrid off of Ebay....
        Should arrive sometime this week!

I bought a couple of new shafts. After trying my High Heat 3 wood and driver, I decided that I didn't like either shaft.
The 3 wood has a Fujikura Pro 53 A Flex shaft and the driver had a Fujikura Vista Pro 45 RR Flex shaft. Most of the problem with the 3 wood shaft may be that it's too short (42.5"). The Vista Pro is also short (44") but I was skeptical of that shaft as soon as I saw it because I once built a driver with a Vista Pro shaft and couldn't hit it at all. So, I searched ebay and found that Diamond Tour Golf had Cobra MAX Matrix White Tie 60 R Flex shafts for only $9.99 each. I haven't used White Tie shafts before but the specs look OK so I thought for $9.99 it was worth a shot. They also have blue trim that should go with with the blue High Heat club heads. I'll make the driver 45.5 inches and the 3 wood at 43 inches. That way I can compare them more equally with my M2 driver and 3 wood. They both will have Golf Pride CP2 wrap midsize grips. Hopefully the shaft order from DTG's ebay site will be shipped as quickly as they always ship from their regular site. I'm expecting the grips to be here Wednesday but have no notice on the shafts yet.
