The difference between Tom's COST of goods vs what he sells it at is semantics? I don't think many in business would agree with that.

No matter, not going to get into an Almo type back and forth, since that's obviously not been productive. It's my opinion and worth what you paid for it.

Dumb question, how do you "quote" someone elses post?

Oh, nice! Thanks, I don't think I would have done that in 100 years. :-)

I never said COGS = Price accounting 101

But doesn't matter as the poster was gentlemanly enough to honor the Wishon TOA and remove the PRICE. Or to make it simple the cost to the CLUBMAKER which is the entire reason TW asks it not be publically discussed. Just as manufacturers do not release the price or your cost to purchase from them.

Jrock, I apologize. Thanks for cleaning this up.

        Aaron,

At post #23 you quoted pdxhak.
If you go back to that post and and hover your mouse over the white box with pdxhak and the arrow in it, his post above it will vibrate.

Gee sorry i asked. However if value golf can sell s perfectly good head for $10 and make money then if I understsnd whst tom is selling for, I think he has a much higher profit margin. I would buy some pings before I would pay that.

potbunker I have some Innovative 100gr .370 graphite shafts (new uncut without graphics) if that will help you. Cheap.
And I'll include a set of Wishon 560's or 755's (both 2* strong / loft, 2 rounds each) at a great price.

I don't know a thing about the shafts, but I'm interested. I need something for lower flight and generally X flex, but a good stiff can work. Let me know more on what they are.

Just found my catalog sitting in my garage ( I think it was being hidden on me) , but man the prices really seem to be creeping up. I guess I'm getting cheap, but I don't want to drop that much money to build clubs myself anymore, much less pay somebody else to build these things up at at those prices. I think it's a good thing Tom has a following or he might find himself a market casualty.

Just found out this morning my wife threw out the 2016 catalog 🙁 She has a very good sense when I am about spend money 🙂

I like the 565MC better than the 560MC from a looks standpoint. Cleaner and simpler. This kind of look is what gets me drooling.....

Eye candy indeed! Those were so popular that I have had trouble finding a set that wasn't chattered up and browned out. You find a clean set?

Yep, No browning and very little play!

That era of Hogan's were pretty, I remeber drooling over them at DSG and questioning how anybody could ever spend so much on clubs... How I wish I had bought just that amount now lol. They were an exceptional value club, even stock, especially for those days.

sweet looking heads... they resemble the very clean profile of my older Adams Idea Pro Forged that sadly I'll be using as a backup set this season... wedge is showing some nasty wear on the sweet spot... getting close with the 8 and 9 too... not so much with the 7 and up as apparently they don't have a sweet spot! 🙂 the heads i was referring to were the ones shown at the top of this thread... not the hogans... had those for awhile and while they were a great look they didn't like the balls I was using

Put my order in for a set of Sterling SL heads 5i-PW and 6 S2S Stepless shafts. Wishon says they will be available early March so hopefully it will only be few weeks until I have them 🙂
