it's on the high end but they look great and sounds like Tom put a lot of thought into them.
with the Canadian dollar in a low funk that works out to ~$60 and $50 respectively.
will pick up a set of 5 -gw at some point this summer

If roles were reversed would you want people to honor your terms of agreement regardless of what they are / were?
Some people don't know or merely have forgotten.
I had heard the prices were going to be high, but that's worse than I thought. I hadn't logged on to see it yet, yikes. $300 in heads alone, factor in lie adjustments, shafts, grips and any potential weights, I'd be in $~600 to build them myself.. That causes a bit of pause. I long for the days when my elbow wouldn't balk if I played some FST steel, but those days have passed and for some reason a decent graphite shaft that weighs 100g+ and isn't a noodle, starts around $30. Consider that most are cut to specific length, I have to get a bunch of 7 iron shafts, so used goes out the window. It's a damn good thing FGI is pretty much dead, there's no way I'd be allowed to stay with a $1k bag.
So you don't mind sharing your product costs from your suppliers. Makes sense since as you said not national security. Can't understand why this is the first time anyone has put it so plainly and willing to share so openly.
I have some Innovative 100gr .370 graphite shafts (new uncut without graphics) if that will help you. Cheap.
And I'll include a set of Wishon 560's or 755's (both 2* strong / loft, 2 rounds each) at a great price.
Cost to the club maker or approximate = product costs to the club maker in this case, not TW costs, You know full well why he doesn't want these prices floating around.
So please don't hide behind semantics unless as a club maker you are wiling to share the price you pay from manufacturers (is that a more accurate description for you) for products you use to build sets. That way we can see your costs vs what you charge for a build, without a personal in house fitting, I might add., where time for fitting equates to costs.
The difference between Tom's COST of goods vs what he sells it at is semantics? I don't think many in business would agree with that.
No matter, not going to get into an Almo type back and forth, since that's obviously not been productive. It's my opinion and worth what you paid for it.
Dumb question, how do you "quote" someone elses post?

I never said COGS = Price accounting 101
But doesn't matter as the poster was gentlemanly enough to honor the Wishon TOA and remove the PRICE. Or to make it simple the cost to the CLUBMAKER which is the entire reason TW asks it not be publically discussed. Just as manufacturers do not release the price or your cost to purchase from them.
Jrock, I apologize. Thanks for cleaning this up.

Will do, thanks!
Gee sorry i asked. However if value golf can sell s perfectly good head for $10 and make money then if I understsnd whst tom is selling for, I think he has a much higher profit margin. I would buy some pings before I would pay that.

I don't know a thing about the shafts, but I'm interested. I need something for lower flight and generally X flex, but a good stiff can work. Let me know more on what they are.
