I got banned years ago...they couldn't take any criticism.
Golfdiscussions.com ?
I was part of that purge as well.

You and many others including me, Rick B just to mention a few.
Steve fair enough. I know TW has done a lot of things over the years that have been pretty good for the game. I don't know if I would give him credit of 300 though. I miss those days when you and Mike used to go at it tooth and nail on FGI as well. It kept the site rocking, now it is just rolling.... over and dying.

I think social media sites like Facebook has hurt golf forums like this and others. Brian Manzella's site has had little traffic for quite sometime because he and his staff are more into the social media stuff like Facebook. Not a Facebook guy and never will be.

Gus....Just getting 'Mellow Yellow' in my old age. Mike and me talk privately about once or twice a month. We still disagree on several subjects....we are friends now. Those old days of hammering each other are gone...way gone.....forever gone.
Last time i spoke to Mike he said, "Steve, let's get Spuzz...he's way overdue!"
No matter what you do Gus....there will always be some Jackass taking pot shots at you. Mother Teresa could be fitting golf clubs and some Nimrod would be out to get her!
End of story.

I'd figure you'd love facebook.

I prefer obscure golf forums instead. No need to post things like what I'm having for lunch today (white tuna mixed with light Hellmann's mayonnaise, onions and celery on light multi grain bread along with 40% less fat Cape Cod potato chips, dill pickle and skim milk).
Actually that sounds good...Glad you posted it!
I'm good with everything, but the tuna. I'd prefer turkey.
Cape Cod chips best ever.
I remember seeing on a Chronical (local Boston area TV program) show years ago telling the story of how they made their (Cape Cod) chips. They actually forgot to add a step in the process and that's how they ended up with that firmer crunch texture.
I remember seeing that Chronicle as well. No other chip stands up to it. I could easily pass on chips but not if they are Cape Cod chips.
Man this thing took a classic thread jack turn! LOL
Never heard of 'em and I like all kinds of chips.
