Looking for a new(er) car

I really like that car a lot! The problem is that is just came out so any used ones have hardly any miles and are not quite in my price range. I've seen a few base models in my price range with just a few thousand miles, but nothing local and they don't have some features it would be nice to get.
I've actually thought about waiting another year so I could get a nice used Stinger lol.
My wife has an 11 year old Hyundai Santa Fe with 250,000 miles. She wants a new one.
Spartan I have a base model 2015 Sonata that is a surprisingly wonderful car. I thought about suggesting the Genesis as a luxury option in this thread too, but it seemed like the tastes were for the German stuff.
Even a loaded late model Sonata with the "Limited" trim and the 2.0L turbo engine could be a great option for an inexpensive luxury-type vehicle.
I used to fancy high end cars, but now I can't imagine wanting more than a Sonata with a few more upgrades than mine. It's a great car - especially for the price.
ZWExton I confess I keep thinking about just getting a loaded Accord or Mazda 6. The Sonata is really nice too. I don't even need that nice a car, but I do like the Euro and Japanese luxury brands.
I really wanted to get AWD this time and if I do that rules out the sedans I just mentioned. I've gotten by with winter tires on my TL, but it's never been a good car in the snow. I bought my wife a 2015 Acura MDX last year and the plan was that when I snowed I would drive her car since she works from home. But that fell apart as she always has some errand to run and doesn't want me using her car.

Kcee, you now realize it was a HUGE mistake to ask us for car-buying advice, yes? You have 87 posts with suggestions and you're no closer to a decision and possibly twice as confused. It's ponderous!
KCee Virtually every Subaru has full-time AWD. I have owned an Outback, Impreza and now drive a Crosstrek (I have dogs so I need a hatchback) and they have all been awesome vehicles that last forever. If you want an AWD sedan you should definitely check on the Legacy - frankly if you want an AWD "anything" you should go to a Subaru dealer.
I like Mercedes, BMW, and Audi but the price combined with repair cost has always kept me away. There is a reason they can be bought fairly cheaply after they're out of warranty. If you must, a lease is probably the best way to go.

eltigrecda Impreza hatch would be #1 on my list. Just not sure anything else looks as good in the same category and has the same amount of hatch space. IMO, the biggest con of small/ish SUV's, is how small the actual trunk space is once the hatch is open with the seats still up!
