sdandrea1 Thanks! It's actually got a metallic sparkle in it, but you gotta be close up to see it.

Are we still talking about the car or you? 😁

Car is in Hartford; going to check it out tonight after work. Hopefully it's as nice as it looked on the website pics.

Somebody asked about a Mazda6. I have a 2015 model purchased new if anyone has any specific questions. It's a great car. Nothing fancy, but affordable and does everything I need well.

Sparky I looked at a recent model 2016 or 2017 and it is a really nice car. Drives nice and great interior. I just really wanted AWD this time so I ruled it out. The CX-5 is also a great little SUV and I came close to getting one of those.

toraider Car was really, really nice. Only problem was that it didn't have the correct tires on it. They are putting new tires on it today or tomorrow and then I'll pick it up by Friday probably. I'm debating whether to get their MaxCare service plan or just skip it. Car still has some warranty left and my brother is a mechanic.

Sounds like you answered your own question. Unless, there are major known flaws in the vehicle you are considering. I.E. If I was buying an older Subaru STi with known engine failure issues and I had to have the car, then warranty might be worthwhile...

toraider Yeah I've just heard German cars can be much more expensive to repair.

KCee Yeah, I hear ya...that's the reason I bought a new Subaru BRZ instead of an older Porsche Cayman some years ago. Didn't want to end up paying any German Car tax. 😉

Should finally be picking car up tomorrow morning! I ended up getting a service plan through my credit union. It was less expensive than CarMax with more miles, no deductible and a few other extras. I didn't even know they offered it.
