I posted about "my" SS office since I have participated in it since '64. Anyone else who has also participated in the that system can also call it "theirs" and regardless of race, religion whatever.
Sneakywrong posted, "Sometimes you Trump white nativists / nationalists just can't contain your racism. Disgusting."
Sneakywrong you don't know a thing about me. Why do you assume that I am white or a Trump supporter?
You are just too full of shitfuckery.

It's really no different than when many thought having Obama in the WH meant it was African Americans version of America. It didn't matter which white guy was the next POTUS after Obama. It would be the same allegations although Trump brings them out louder due to his non-condemnation of the white supremacist marchers and more. For Obama, he got hammered for never saying radical islamic terrorism. I disliked both. Not a Trump guy nor was I an Obama guy. I wouldn't have been anyone's guy. They're all disgraceful to me. Never in my lifetime has there ever been anyone who truly represented me nor will there be before I'm gone.
Sneakylong Let's do it this way....
I'm an ignorant sumbich. I need to know exactly everything Trump has done since taking office.....governmentwise...laws, bills, orders, etc..
NOT what he has said/tweeted. NOT what he has NOT done.
Please list them in this thread for all to see/read/know. You are the only one that can do this/know this. Obviously.

What democratic governments? Like the fall of the Roman empire or maybe the French revolution where the starving have nots rose up against the pigs at the trough let them eat cake / fuck the poor crowd. Those were great examples of democracies.
Your statement speaks volumes. Former democracies were not men of ignorance. Yet, they failed in a pattern that has and is being repeated.
Pericles
In a funeral oration in 430 bce for those who had fallen in the Peloponnesian War, the Athenian leader Pericles described democratic Athens as “the school of Hellas.” Among the city’s many exemplary qualities, he declared, was its constitution, which “favors the many instead of the few; this is why it is called a democracy.” Pericles continued: “If we look to the laws, they afford equal justice to all in their private differences; if to social standing, advancement in public life falls to reputation for capacity, class considerations not being allowed to interfere with merit; nor again does poverty bar the way; if a man is able to serve the state, he is not hindered by obscurity of his condition. The freedom which we enjoy in our government extends also to our ordinary life.”

That's just a list from his first 100 days. Not to mention separating families and putting babies in cages. Tried to ban a religious group from from entering the country. His affinity to dictators where he has Hotels like Turkey, Philippines etc. and treats our Allies like crap. Trying his best to destroy our institutions. Tax cuts for the rich which is sending the deficit sky high.
He puts himself and his self dealings / self interest ahead of the countries. MAGA, really. More like Make America White again. Proof you ask? Charlottesville. Enough said...……….
But let's wait and see what Mueller comes up with. Trump has surrounded himself with liars and criminals some of which are going to jail. There's a Justice Dept. rule that says a sitting president can't be indicted and can pardon anyone charged or convicted of a federal crime.
But he has no such authority with State charges and my guess is that's where his downfall will be. The State of New York will be combing over his past and I would bet he'll be charged with some sort of RICO act. But we can only hope.
Please take the time to read below. Pretty much sums up what many of us feel about Trump.
British Writer Pens The Best Description Of Trump I've Read
"Someone on Quora asked “Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England wrote the following response:
A few things spring to mind.
Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem.
For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed.
So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief.
Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing – not once, ever.
I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility – for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman.
But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is – his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty.
Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers.
And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults – he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness.
There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface.
Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront.
Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul.
And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist.
Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that.
He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat.
He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege.
And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully.
That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead.
There are unspoken rules to this stuff – the Queensberry rules of basic decency – and he breaks them all. He punches downwards – which a gentleman should, would, could never do – and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless – and he kicks them when they are down.
So the fact that a significant minority – perhaps a third – of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that:
• Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are.
• You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man.
This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss.
After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum.
God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid.
He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart.
In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump.
And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish:
‘My God… what… have… I… created?
If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set."
Many Americans like myself are embarrassed by this idiotic buffoon. Hopefully we only have another two years of this national embarrassment.
Why do you think the Dems don't want a border wall, more Mexicans in, more will ultimately vote for democratic candidates. It's like Mayor LaGuardia bring the Puerto Ricans in in droves in the last century to boost the dem voting.

Some would say the Democrats want the votes and Republicans want the cheap labor. You might say a win, win. Again, disclaimer. Sarcasm intended.

I have to admit to lying. I'm not an ignorant sumbich.
I know there has never been a President that scores of U.S. residents, and foreign residents/leaders, overwhelmingly liked personally or for their policies/actions. There never will be.
I also know when statements are 'taken out of context', such as the list above.
I also know that when we get up in arms about a local legislator voting for 'such & such' bill/law, there must have been an important underlying rider/attachment that fulfilled a certain promise to us from their campaign; even if the face of the law/bill shows the opposite of one of the legislator's promises. When I see this happening, I try to understand, sometimes finding the entire bill/law to read, as to why they broke their campaign promise. That's when I see the underlying reason they voted as they did; compromise, to get something much more important.
As for that British writer, he must be used to/be in love with, facetious political leaders in his country. I am used to it in mine also, and will not tolerate it any longer. I voted for Obama...….twice!! Have never seen a more facetious motherfucker in my life, and he actually pulled the wool over everyone's eyes, including the population of voters who thought they would be helped most by his elections. Anyone that knew about Trump, or had watched his TV show, knew what they were going to get. And we are getting it. Majority asked for it.

Me too, Clinton, Clinton, Gore, Keary, Obama, Obama, Clinton. Hillary was the first time I ever seriously contemplated not voting Democrat and not voting at all, but the alternative was so bad that I voted for her. Very little trust in her and this was bore out with the email scandal and the DNC. IMO a strong dislike for Hillary and her stupid commentary during the campaign, in conjunction with a strong backlash after Obama, the first black president, did her in.
Par4QC Anyone that knew about Trump, or had watched his TV show, knew what they were going to get. And we are getting it. Majority asked for it.
Hear hear. I don't need 4-8 years of investigation to know what this guy is all about, it's been apparent all along!
Par4QC yeah she just could not help herself. The basket of deplorables comment was just downright stupid and did her no favor with voters she needed to sway. Mind boggling to me that an experienced politician would make such a critical error. That's bulletin board material!
And Al Gore was very similar IMO, you could see the disdain on his face during the debates with Bush.
With people like Omar and Cortez it will be interesting to see how many can still support the Democratic agenda.
With the number of people that do not vote, "a lot" does not mean a majority, especially when you get almost 3,000,000 less votes than your main opponent.

We'll never know how many of those votes were legit, meaning from actual LIVING and AMERICAN CITIZENS.
I think the easiest thing to "fix" in this country is an election just due to sheer size. To me, the person who wins is the the one who is slimiest and cheats the best.
If you disagree and think that's me being me, just look at what the DNC did to Bernie.
