I thought about the G400 Pro because it’s lighter weight.
I’ve now owned 2 EPI Les Pauls. The first one was a Pelham Blue Standard that I had rewired and had Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded pickups installed. It sounded incredible, but was freakin heavy. I ended up selling it hoping to find something similar and lighter.
A few months later I found a used EPI LP at Guitar Center. It was made in Indonesia and was noticeably lighter than a Chinese Plustop Pro. It was good, still not 100% what I wanted. Also when I got sick and my income was cut due to lack of commissions ( day job, not golf or art) I ended up selling it along with excess clubs.
Thought about the G400 Pro due to weight, double humbuckers ( with coil split) and it’s something I’ve never had. I do want whatever I get to stay in tune.
