ode I was trying to wipe it off better, but I couldn’t get it quite clean enough to verify where I was getting it. There were a lot of good feeling shots that appeared to be off the center, but telling exactly where it was, really tough.

So, the Flash Subzero...I just went on the Callaway website to check out the shaft upgrades because the stock options are sort of horseshit for a driver north of $500.

I looked at the Atmos Black 6x that I liked in the Cobra.

In the Cobra...no charge...it's a stock offering so the club is still $448.
In the Flash...$300 up charge on top of the $529 retail. Comes to $829. The Tensei CK pro orange which is a superior shaft to the Atmos is $250 which makes no sense.

$829... That club better also be cutting my lawn, snow blowing my driveway and picking up the dog crap.

Atmos all day long. Also with the Atmos, all the colors, Black, Blue and Red have the same butt so they can all feel the same in your hands but give you different launch etc.. depending on which shaft.

Typhoon I didn't think the smoke was bad by any stretch, but Atmos def wins in the feel Dept!

Yeah, Smoke was not awful but when you're looking at $500 for a driver...you hate to settle AND you don't want to pay an upcharge for a better shaft really.
Thats why, to me the Cobra is a good choice.

Tomorrow I plan on going back to the store and seeing if there is anything in the fitting cart for Callaway. I was in 2 Golf Galaxy stores and saw the Graphite design tour AD-IZ 7x. A little heavier than I would like but I want to try it anyway. Firm butt, medium middle and a firm tip. Close to my specs...would prefer the 6x.

Want to see what numbers I get from that.

Typhoon That’s the one shaft I really want to try. The original Addi was damn good, this sounds perfect for me, the thing I found really cool was it was damn near impossible to over swing the original DI, great design. Let us know!

DC300 Friggin place doesn't have the fitting cart but instead has a Callaway rack with 8 million iron shafts.

So I'm a bit bummed, the place I usually hit just changed their tees because there is an issue with the new M5 drivers getting wrecked. Apparently, and I could see it. The front to back weight channel on the M5 has a "lip" or "overhang" over the channel now. What is happening is the tee is getting caught in the channel and ripping the " overhang" which is the carbon fiber sole plate.

Yesterday they had rubber range tees that are 3/4" or so lower. Most of what I hit was low on the club face. One thing I found is the Atmos black is what I love. Spin is great and I'm liking the 6s over the 6x due to landing angle. Mitch the low tee I only hit a few good and they moved out big time with the M6 and the Subzero.

So it's a nice race between the 3... M6, Subzero and F9 with the Atmos Black 6S or X.
