I had time to kill and stumbled upon a Callaway demo at Golf n Ski warehouse here in NH. Sunny and 52 degrees...The perfect storm for February, warm temps and the opportunity to hit New shit outside.
For some reason my indoor hitting of the Flash Subzero has been "sub par". It was a 2 horse race with the Cobra F9 in front.
This time I got to go outside, I grabbed a 9 degree subzero...best looking head I've seen this year. I had him put the stock Smoke 6.0 in it. I loved the ballflight. Also no big misses unless I tried something. With my normal swing it was a bomb. When I leaned on it the 6.5 flex would have been better. Only thing was the 6.5 was 10 grams heavier so I didn't bother.
It was busy, limited places to hit. I really wasn't looking to hit anything else. Looks like no exotic shafts were there.
I hit a few with the Cobra but the only shaft they had was the atmos ts7s which I have no interest in. And it really was not even close to the Flash. Can't wait until spring demo day with my driver vs. The Subzero and maybe one other.
