I get asked this question a lot. It’s up to Steve and Shawn. Sales have been good for them, but they don’t know if bringing one in would be the right move right now or not. They do have future ideas Im not allowed to say anything about. All I can do is keep asking.

If you guys would go to OMG.Golf and in the contact us section send them a message about wanting a 60 degree, who knows?

I did talk to Steve about the 60 degree. Originally he wanted to do a 60 and a 56. He then polled several golf stores to see what were the big sellers. The 52 and 56 degree were the ones most voted on.

He’s not against doing a 60, just not right now. Wedge sales have been good, but they would like to move more inventory before adding something new.

For those who have bought and used the TILLe, what were you using before the TILLe?

I’ll start. I’ve been using Alpha Prospec wedges for awhile now with Rifle Spinner shafts. Until the TILLe they were the best wedges I had ever had.

The TILLe impressed me right away at how easy it was to use. As much as I loved my Spinners, the NV Pro shafts took it to another level. Very accurate, IMO more so than my Alphas and smooth as silk.

cpanther1995 I’ve been playing Maltby Tricept/M-Series+ wedges the last several seasons. Mine have either FST 115 Pro or Score LT shafts. I tried graphite in a Tricept about 5 years ago, but did’t care for it then. I’m considering graphite in the Tille just to give graphite another chance. I have an Xcaliber wedge shaft & a Paderson iron shaft - just trying to decide which one to use.

Would any of you guys consider buying a gap and 2 sand wedges and have a local club fitter bend them? For example bend a 52 to 50, a 56 to 54 and another 56 to 58? Paint the paint fill on the 2nd 56 a different color in 1 part to remind you this is your lob. This idea did not come from OMG, this is me just wondering how well it would work.

My concern would be the bounce, particularly when decreasing loft. The bounce changes with the loft and some time when bending to decrease loft you might be creating a "digger." I would suggest if OMG has some demo heads send them to a buzzer with a loft/lie machine and let them tinker.

If you bend a 56 to 58 you would have way too much bounce. 60's traditionally have much less bounce than a SW. If you ground off some of the bounce it could work. But then you would be grinding down the slots.

I don't think grinding on these is an option. These are totally different. The slots get deeper as they move from the leading edge to the back. I don't know the head specs so I don't know if the listed bounce is taken from the top or bottom of the "slots." I am guessing that the angled grooves are what make these special, so who would want to grind these off as well as the finish?

I really like the Axe wedge shafts. Paderson makes a great product. It’s all about the weight and will it work for you.

colej I was using steel shafts in my irons back when I tried the Xcaliber wedge shaft. I’ve since moved to Xcaliber shafts in 2 sets of irons that I currently use & I’m quite pleased with them. I’ve kept steel shafts in my wedges above 48-50. I think it’s time to give graphite another try in my new 56 Tille.

I’ve liked the Xcaliber shafts in irons, hybrids & FW clubs, but never found the right one for the driver.

I’ve tried the Paderson shafts (made for GW) in the driver & a 4W. Very good quality shafts, but the ones I’ve tried don’t fit my swing. Have, but haven’t tried the hybrid & iron shafts yet.

The Paderson made for Golfworks? I’ve tried the hybrid shaft and it’s excellent. I have not tried the driver shaft but I have tried the FW shaft. It is also excellent so I wouldn’t expect the driver shaft to not be good.

What Axe shafts are you using in your irons?

colej Paderson Trajectory Series - exclusive for GW. I think Jim Y said these are same as the standard Paderson line without the Kevlar. When I profiled them, I could tell these are very consistent and very good quality shafts. They profile with a higher bend point and a stout lower section. This profile does not work will with my swing - at least not the long clubs. Tried R flex initially in a 4W. Felt great, but played too stout. Stepped down to an A flex - played like a noodle. I think the stiff lower section just doesn’t work for me. I still have an R flex in an Alpha driver that I will give another try when the weather improves.

Xcaliber shafts - using the regular red ones. Wished I’d picked up a Tour SL driver shaft to try out before they were gone.
