Got my 2 House of Forged shafts today from Robert's eBay store. Came with TM adapters on them...resisting using that DCT head!!

Received my DCT 13* head yesterday.....promptly installed an Aldila NV that I'd been saving for that head. Put
on a new Winn oversized grip today, and voila! Ready for Florida!! Great looking club!

I got a 14 too, just came in the mail. I plan on hooking it up with a Project X 5.5 graphite shaft just sitting around, unless I buy a Phenom or maybe a Hzrdus Red😄

Speaking of the DCT,the 1st one I actually used was a DCT 14. I had been using 10.5 deg TM and Callaway drivers with ok results. With Geek I was told to go I loft up. My golf teacher had a DCT 14 demo shafted with a Harrison Mugen. Loved it.
Built a twin but w a VS Proto. One of the longest drivers I’ve ever hit.

Over time I went to a 12 degree because certain golf buddies I played with were giving me a hard time over playing a 14. Now I want one again and I don’t give a rip what they think 😄. Thinking Phenom or Hzdrus Red on this one. I want it to be a show stopper! Regarding Aldila I still believe they peaked with the Phenom. I’ve hit the Tour Blue and a Rogue Shaft. Personally Phenom still performs better IMO.

More loft can give you more distance. How many of you have tried the DCT 14?

cpanther1995 Is the DCT considered a low spin head? I was going to pull the trigger on a 14* head but I'm trying to quit ho'ing, simply because equipment doesn't seem to make a difference. But I am intrigued by a high loft low spin head and see how that works.

Yes the DCT is a low launch low spin Head. The 14 degree gives it that extra kick. I’ve hit some of my longest drives with a DCT 14. It’s never ballooned on me.

Just heard from Derek Baer. Since OMG extended their sale, in Steve’s honor Derek is extending the Geek Sale till Mid February too! He is out of Geek headcovers so a generic hc will be provided, and he’s going to give me an updated list of lofts in stock.
