Good news: just received text notification of orders that have not shipped yet, and I’ve emailed those people with tracking info.
Bad news: some of you have emailed me not happy with the headcovers you have received. I didn’t have prior knowledge of this but yes Geek ran out of headcovers early. It happens. I remember it happening with Steve Almo too. The foundry does not provide hcs with the heads. They always come from another factory. A replacement order was placed way over a month ago. Derek is waiting on confirmation regarding when they will ship. In the meantime they will ship with generic or Integra hcs.
Another thing that needs to be addressed; Magnetic hcs. The current Geek Golf hcs are zippered and have been for awhile. Geeks hc factory told Derek they could no longer produce magnetic hcs do to a patent violation. We both contacted Almo trying to find a new factory. Still looking. It’s upsetting because it’s something Geek was always known for. We’re not giving up. One thing Ive proposed is offering a hc similar to the NFL Apex hcs. They are slide on-slide off but easy to use. We noticed for whatever reason there are no NFL Magnetic hcs anymore either.
Some of you may remember Steve ran into issues with hcs too until we landed on the factory that did them up until Steve sold the co, and the factory Derek had been using. They were the best.
