LBlack14 Garage thermometer says 91°. I'm not even sweating. She turns the thermostat to 71° at night and I sweat thru a shirt and pillow case.🙄
Mattyv azgreg Yesterday was a different kind of hot. Broke out in a sweat standing in the shade in about 2 minutes. Grilling 20+ burgers and 29+ dogs this early evening. That's going to be just great.
Walterjn Mattyv I know this is too late for today, just maybe something for next year... https://mistcooling.com/mistcooling-system-for-patio-60-feet.html I did something similar at boss lady's barn before she moved, it helped here where it doesn't get near as hot as there.
backinit We have had clouds and rain nearly every day in June and July isn't getting much better. On the that rare day that we do have the sun the humidity is high and 85 feels like 95.
Typhoon Last summer we had a drought all summer and my lawn completely died… so bad that I had to have it reseeded. This year it rains everyday and is not hot. I still wear long sleeves most days. Fine with me.
ode garyt1957 played early and late yesterday and walked both. Definitely hot, almost needed rain gloves for my non glove had to hold onto the club.
Mattyv Walterjn Mist systems are pretty common down here. I can't stand the look of them. I am the guy that just re-ran 250ft of speaker wire underground inside plastic drip tubing. Just so no one will see any wires in my backyard. There is no good way to disguise the mist systems. We just stay inside until around 5pm when the trees start blocking the sun and shades the pool. Perfect timing for when I get home from work. An hour in the pool talking to the wife about her day goes a long way. This may be the only good thing about the extreme heat we have.
