sdandrea1 Not sure just what it is about these G5i putters. PING. 1st time I picked one up in the store, PING, it just felt so balanced. PING Straight back and forward, every ball rolling perfectly to the hole. PING Had it several years now, on it's 2nd grip PING and it still just knocks them dead in; always a lot of 1 putts every round. PING Got a bit bored a month or so ago and bought PING a brand new White Hot RX 1. PING looks similar to the G5i, but won't know how it PING performs til next season, I guess. PING Should probably just sell the G51 PING as I'm sure this new club will PING most likely perform.
Hey....that's kind of an old putter you got there isn't it? Get about 30+ putts per round out of it, if you're lucky??

I think serial club ho-ers change clubs so often because when the clubs misbehave they're too quick to make a change. I have a golf buddy who had the Ping G400 irons and liked them, but just recently traded them for a set of TM M4's.
With my wife set to retire next year my hoing days may be coming to a end. Although I'm not in the same league as you when it comes to hoing.
I have 5 drivers (3 Pings and 2 Cobras), 3 sets of irons (Ping G15's, Cleveland CBX's and Ping G400's), two 3 & 5 woods (Ping G and G400), one Ping G400 7 wood, 3 Ping G15 hybrids, 2 Cobra hybrids, 2 sets of 54 and 60 degree wedges (Ping and Cleveland) and 5 putters (Ping, Scotty, Odyssey and 2 Yes).
Lately I've been on a shaft ho kick. I have multiple shafts that I can change on the drivers. Matter of fact the latest shaft should be arriving today.
That certainly ain't a PING bag any more. It's only the G400 irons. Everything else is everything else. You know you want to sell me those 400's, sleeep, sleeep.....
Somehow I don't think you'll be able to cobble up much of a support group around here. It looks like it all on
you brother!
For some reason, recently I seem to be buying excessive amounts and different kinds of toilet paper.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ..................... aahhhhh, yeah right
I think it's certainly possible to stop ho'ing. I've had the same set for 3 seasons now. I've kept wedges for longer, but normally I'd be on my 6th set of irons and my 8th driver. I have a full time job, a kid at home and one in college while you are retired so you have both the time and money to ho regularly. That's a bad situation for a serial ho. It's like someone trying to diet with a bunch of junk food in the house. They can only hold out so long.
Maybe endless rain, nagging injury, or ______ might stop the ho-ing.
Nah - they'd just make it worse.
