fatshot Stillness is THE thought going through my mind on the backswing, until I get to the top of
my swing. When I forget or neglect that thought, I don't hit the ball very solidly either!
JMO but for the majority stillness can breed tension. They are both directly opposed. Jim teaches stillness but doesn't want tension. The amount of weight on your front side is foreign to most golfers.
Even when I am using my hybrid Owens swing methodology I wind up with a lot of weight on my front side so much so that I can't have a reverse C move when I am on front leg posting the shot on the 7 sec. follow thru move. That's Triangulaid basically not so much P.I.G. Bill Owens is the dean of these kind of non-tension swings (Triangulaid, FlowMotion, Zen, P.I.G.). To me Venetos is the opposite of Owens.
