This comes as no surprise to me as I had some issues with the 870ti. That said, I think more of the guys that can benefit from them arenāt all that interested in them for a pure distance point of view. At the end of the day, irons are about accuracy, not distance. So thatās the real rub, distance doesnāt mean š©, but, Iāll gladly hit a āhotā 7 iron in vs a āstandardā 6 iron... this is where it gets cloudy. Iām able to flex any face and 99% of people will say I donāt need distance, but if I can catch a point where that long iron can be a shorter shaft... I can now be more aggressive at the target and now a distance club allows more accuracy. I hope that was easy enough to follow.
Hot can mean more accurate because it can allow me to hit ā lessā club to get there and I can go for more.
