Would love Phil to win , but at almost 48 ?? Only one PGA player has won a major at 48 years old and it was 50 odd years ago and wasn't Jack

        Agreed. But he's the type of player who seems to somehow "find it" in the biggest tournaments.

        He very well could lay an egg, but I would imagine, at worst, he finishes in the top 20. And given his putting prowess - hard to completely write him off. If he's striking it well - he'll be within striking distance.

        Of course, you could say that about any number of players these days. But he's been there, and that in itself seems an advantage.
