Thanks for clarification Mike. The lure for finding that one driver head and shaft that will be a consistent fairway finder at a good trajectory and distance keeps me and my friends chasing rainbows.
God help me.

It really comes down to hitting the ball in the middle of the face. Pros hit the middle almost every time and they can fuss with launch angle and minute details. We need to find a driver that we can square up and hit center face and that’s the best driver. Best fitting tool, contact tape.

I mark a spot on the impact point of my golf balls during practice range or on the course with a dry marker white board pen. Leaves me the spot of impact clearly on the driver face. Its a little bit of a pain to tee the ball just so but not too much trouble . I've used talc powder on the club face too, but not quite as good as the dry markers. Smells nice though . Impact tape is nice like you suggest, I just keep forgetting to get it. My misses are usually low toe. I even dented the bottom of my Cleveland driver . How is that possible ?

I wish I could be LOL. My fourteen year old son has managed to do that with a couple of drivers I had laying about. Worse yet, he now likes the Mizuno that has been serving me well. Oh well, I have an Indio that I hit just as far, but on a lower trajectory - which only causes me problems on uphill holes.

I'd have cried if it'd help . Almost new club. I think that is why the shaft on my G15 broke too. Darn trifold glasses ! Nothing is where it seems to be, my excuse anyway .

I snagged a 2016 M2 head only on Ebay pretty cheap. It is currently #1 in da bag.

I don't look for more distance at my geezer swing speed, but certainly would change if the fairways hit improved significantly and I could find a bargin 12 degree tm head. I'd pull my Miyazaki from the Cleveland and buy an adapter. Same for the callaway gbb 13.5. I've not found a good cheapo, yet.

I liked the look of the Indio and how it set up at address, but I never got sufficient distance with it. I have a neg AOA as well.

I had the same attitude with Almo at one point with Geek but got over it, but not due to price.
I still don't own any Geek stuff.

I have the M2 2016 12° in the 13.5° setting. I was using a Wishon 919thi which was a fairway finder but distance lacked a bit. With the M2 I get the same control and substantially more distance. YMMV. Poke around on Ebay. There should be a bunch with prices continuing to drop with the M3 and 4 out. You can find adapters on Ebay also for about $8.

Edited: Wow, I just looked on Ebay and the used 2016 M2's are more expensive than when I bought mine last spring. There is hardly anything under $200. They must be very popular.

Rickochet I've been surfing feabay for an adjustable 12 like the M1 , 2 . They are still pretty dear $$$. A new m2 12 sr flex shaft complete club went for $146 + shipping which is best price I've seen this week . I'm following a m2 head now but its' bids are already at $76 with 2 days to go, so it'll be too dear soon. It's ok, just got that darn itch again and little scratch to match.
Courious more about your 919 distance /accuracy, feel, thoughts, experience vs your m2 & specifics, if I'm not being too nosey. I'll try to extrapolate how my old Ping G15 reshafted with Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara E 55 5ct compares and how my Miyasaki C Kua 39R shaft might be a good fit the M2 12 . I'm wanting some higher trajectory so could adjust the m2 to 13 or more. Etc etc.
Off topic, sorry, but it's still about optimization of driver selection.

Kind of hard to give an apples to oranges comparison. I was in a really bad golf slump, particularly off of the tee. I got 919thi hand picked to 16°. I have a negative angle of attack so higher lofts work better for me. The 919 is very solid and has a nice sound. Distance is ok but not great. It could be a spin issue but I don't know that for sure. Accuracy is very good. I currently have a Wishon s2s white 80g shaft in it. I tried several others and this one has worked best. I have a Mitsubishi Bassara and a UST Mamiya ATTAS 5 I want to try in it this spring. I have the ATTAS 5 in the M2 and it is as accurate as the 919 but distance is better. I have really become a fan of the Mitsubishi shafts. I may try one in the M2. A nice thing about the M2 is shaft adapters are about $7 so it is cheap and easy to get a few and swap out shafts.

With the 919 at 16 deg. and the TM at 13.5 degree there must be considerable trajectory difference between them , even discounting shafts. I don't think my angle of attack is as negative as yours but pretty sure it's partly the cause my low trajectories with the 12 degree heads I'm playing . The ball marks on the driver faces are usually toe & low and most trajectories low draws or pulls. Have a strong , closed, baseball ,ten finger, grip too. Some of my best are with a classic baseball swing. Home run over right field fence!

Really thinking I might be able gain some driving improvement with an adjustable club like your m2. Swap shafts easily , adjustable loft/lie.
I'm watching a Great big birtha 13.5 degree on fleabay now that might ? ?? auction low enough for me to get. I've never tried Callaway drivers yet but how bad can they be?

This is your problem, not the driver loft.
Use a neutral grip (ten finger is ok), tee up with half a ball above the crown and see what happens.
Your swing is not fundamentally sound enough to expect to see any real results from adjustable drivers, imo.
