mikeintopeka Bryson is tied for the lead and has been getting some love all along today's round from the pressbox.
I am a Bryson fan but I wish he would get rid of that ********* hat.

Rickochet - hear those finger nails on the chalkboard sound? That's Bryson's death grip while trying to hold onto first place by himself. He found the water left on 17 so he'll be scrambling to save par.
Fowler looks like he's somewhere else and Justin Thomas had another hissy fit today.
Odd.
mikeintopeka that was the 1st time I saw that flick, not too bad. At least the guys looked like they could play some. Wonder who got the gun.
Go Bryson!!
Great leader board, me and Baaab going tomorrow.

Say hi for me
and to you as well
Try for some TV time too
That would be hilarious.
Rickochet - and didn't they say Bryson put a fiberglass shaft in his putter?
13 players within 3 shots of Ricky. He plays well here and has an impressive record so I don't see him going backwards and letting more in the field in to challenge. I think he shoots around 4 under so it is going to take someone to go 5, 6 or even 7 under to win it.
It's not a major, so Rickie shouldn't have to worry about shitting the bed today. Definitely competing with Phil as the local favorite, with Phil enjoying a slight edge. Mickelson has won this event 3x... going for his fourth this afternoon.
Based on the history over the past 10 events here, the margin of victory has been one stroke on four occasions. Playoffs have been required on 5 occasions. Mickelson won his last Phoenix Open back in 2013 by 4 strokes to be the lone margin-of-victory exception during that period. I think (?) that was the same year he fired an opening-round 60, which tied his career-low round as a professional.
Rahm, Reavie and Bryson a stroke back at 13-under. Schauffele, Mickelson and Berger two back at -12, and about a half-dozen guys 3 shots back at -11.
The odds are very good that 2-3 guys could be in a playoff come the end of the round. And, FWIW... Mickelson is the only player in contention who has won this event the same weekend the Patriots ended up winning the SB, and oddly enough it was the Patriots vs the Eagles back in 2005.
So although it goes against my nature to root against Phil - I'm sure Sneakylong is! lol
First time I got to watch Bryson. Looks like a flat lie kill the ball guy. Any thing a little tricky not his game.
Uh oh. Bryson just did #2 on #3.
Dang, he sharted again on #4.
