Very old school traditional, but on the modern side of hickory!

Just regripped and whipped my mashie niblick. It has a small crack in the shaft. Re-pinned her too.

Very Very Nice bag. Sun Mountain has some nice leather bags and of course there are the MacKenzie bags (a bit pricey for my taste).

Nice project you have going.

My whipping skills still suck, but I just got my mid iron yesterday, so I have more practice. Gotta reset and re-pin the head and wrap on some new leather. Gonna try to go slow this time and whip that thread in even wraps nice and tight together.

I'm guessing that this new hickory hobby could become just as expensive as your normal ho-ing hobby with the latest and greatest.

I would imagine that finding replaceable hickory shafts isn't exactly a cheap endeavor in itself these days.

New replacement hickory shafts are $19.50 from several suppliers. New replica clubs are expensive.

Ringoblack Hope you don't have large calves--they are not pretty in plus 4's.

I've been told my legs should be arrested for "lack of support". I'm lean in the calves. 😉

SWMBO ordered me a pair of green knickers, multi -colored argyle knee sox, green Kangol hat. White golf shirt will complete the costume. Pics up later.

I agree; perhaps a pair of black and yellow diamond pattern? or maybe these.

        or these

or if better taste prevails, these

I'm down for a Golfbuzz "plus 4" pics thread. I think I still have mine that I had custom tailored for me in the Philippines.
