This is going to be fun! I just played the back nine of my home course with my partial set. Used the PING ZING Blondie Maple driver, an Adams 4H, my mashie, mashie niblick and my putter. These hickory shafted, narrow-ass sole'd blades are not that hard to hit. The feel of the forged head and wooden shaft is sweet too. The mashie is about 34 degrees (we think) and goes about like a 7 iron for me. The Mashie Niblick is about an 8 or 9 iron in flight and distance. I have not reset or regripped my niblick yet, but it will be for all my wedge work, including sand. I think I shot about 4 or 5 over. I know I par'd the 3 shorter par 4s and I had no doubles. Just swing 'em easy and off they go! Gotta get some knickers - I have my first event on Jan 22 in Orlando.😎
