SMT irons
I played a combo 303 cb and mb set for about three years. I loved them. In fact, I refuse to sell them because I could see going back to them one day. You can bend those things into prezels, too.
Tried the MB version, great feeling and spinning, above my skill set though. I would try the CBs, they are rare, hold on them!

How does one find a set of iron heads they forgot they bought? As soon as the set comes in I am putting it together that day and playing them the next day.

I've got boxes of crap that, unless mentioned like this or I come across them, I forget about them.
Had a golf shop with probably 30 sets of irons on display. Probably had another 30 sets of heads ready to build. When I closed I sold what I could and packed up the rest to put in the basement. Selling components became impossible. SMT and the like meant nothing to anyone except folks like the ones on this site. Never understood why the bigger component guys never made an effort to advertise their products. A few ads on Golf Channel, some display material and packaging would have gone a long way in keeping the product relative.
I'm still gaming the SMT 303 MB's from time to time. When my swing is on I can control the ball better than with any irons I've ever played. Less offset than the full cavity. For me just enough.
That said I was never a fan of the full cavity 303's but play the half cavity 5 iron in my set.
From what I understand the molds for the MB's was accidentally destroyed.
Tinker any interest in a set of SMT wedges to go with them? I found a 49, 55, and 59 today that I have no use for. I played them a while back and they don't play well with me. These are new in wrapper. 49 and 55 are green. 59 is black... or maybe the other way around. I'll check if you're interested.
