fatshot IMO the rails on the sole do not add any height in trajectory to any shot. Both Synchron II and Super Concorde use .335 hosels so for that fact alone with will launch higher than .370 a factor that Wishon always has used in their hybrids .335. The rails might help in lies in the rough. Other than that they play fine for me and I custom built them slightly longer in playing length than the iron that they would replace in loft as they have quite upright lies.. I have also built some Super Concordes in the past and they play much the same as the Synchron II head. Looks to me like the Synchron II head is going away.
I will be testing the new 2018 Swing Science FC-One Plus frwy 20 deg. and the SS FC-One Plus 24 deg. hybrid this spring.
For fairways the SS FC-One A (adjustable) frwy for me last year was the best club I built and used for myself and clients.
