What Are Your Favorite Ping Irons?
I've only had Rapture V2s and Eye2s In Ping irons. The Rapture shovels were/are my most expensive golf purchase by far and no other irons I've ever tried can displace them for long from the bag except during the hard pan with our Mississippi late summer drought. I want my Mizunos to win out very much, but don't believe that with me being on down side of 72, I'll ever get there consistently with my striking. I'd love to try the 400s too, but then I feel like that way too often about all the new pretties.
I've always liked the looks of the Raptures, Rapture V2's and G10s but never have been able to "pull the trigger" on a purchase. Can those of us who don't own Pings still hang around this site??

Yes, but you might be on probation.
Ringoblack This site is turning into a Ping love fest

Thought I’d annoy Spuzz and bring this one back to the top. I hope Raptures will be my favorite since I just received the ones sold by meagain. It’ll be my first go around with Pings. Just for fun, I’m going to throw my Bang-O-Matic 401 Slupski 12 degree driver in the bag with them and try to get my game improvement on. I don’t know where the ball will end up, but it should make friends with the sky on the way there.

Excellent! Spuzz was always a rabid fan of Bang drivers, too.
MidwayJ I didn’t mean to take it that far, but he’ll be conforted to know that my Indio will be close at hand should things go wrong.
Anybody mention Geek?
Still the G10 irons.

Spuzz The "infamous" wear your safety goggles 450 and say Soolong to it after a week.
Years ago there was a "war" between two members of the family that marketed the Integra brand and similar clubs were being made at two different factories. Stuff from one was good the other was crap. You must have gotten one of the crap ones. I have one that is at least 10 years old. I ordered a set of Sooolong fairway heads from a vendor and got two from one factory and two from the other. The paint color was the same but stampings were different sizes. There was a significant performance diff as well.
Rickochet I still have an Integra Beta Ti 450 that I put in the bag once in a while. It was my first titanium driver, deep faced, and I still hit it pretty well, although I've had about 5 different shafts in it. This was before they came out with the SoooooLong. I'd buy a SooooLong today, except for the ugly blue color!
Say SooooooLong to the original topic.
