sdandrea1 That is the IsI K model, which is slightly larger than the IsI. More forgiveness was the claim for the K model.

Did the ISI precede the Eye2 or was is s supposed improvement?

Wow, this old thread lives. FWIW I have a set of nice Ping Eye 2+ 3 thru SW orange dot that need a new home. Reamed for .370 shafts.

The only I’ve tried are Raptures. They are great. Like others, I’ve lusted for Beryllium Copper, but have never hit them.

The longest I played a set of pings about 3 years was the g10s. Also liked g25s

I've been using Ping irons for quite a few years - had a set of S56s (from new) that I used for something like 10 years, and replaced them last year with i210s.

Have G2's that I played a lot this year. Have the G irons that I just got shortened and lie adjusted. Now everyone is doing it. Also had Raptures.

sdandrea1 Sending my black dot Eye 2+ set back to PING for a bend up to blue and a retumbled/paint fill. Pics when they get back.

What's the tab on doing that per club ? Curious....

Quoted me $118 to shorten, re grip, and alter to Orange Dot for 8 clubs. That's $14.75 per. Don't know if is because I am the registered owner or not. That includes new grips.

          sdandrea1 Refinishing costs more, apparently.

Just heads or are you sending in the complete clubs ?

Eguller Just heads or are you sending in the complete clubs

Complete clubs, at their request. I wanted to send heads only but they were kind of insisting. They offered me a $20 shipping label for here to Phoenix. I grabbed it.

johnnydoom The only I’ve tried are Raptures. They are great. Like others, I’ve lusted for Beryllium Copper, but have never hit them.

The Rapture J-Spec is something I used to look for. A little more players look then the standard one. Coppers… back when we had balata they really enhanced the soft feel. Now… I had a set and with todays balls they didn’t feel more soft than anything else.

sdandrea1 Curious how much they charge you for that work. The clubs can be found everywhere for $100. Granted for $100 they won’t look brand new like yours will but are you just going to use them or hold on to them in a collection?
