What to watch on Netflix

Just finished Longmire, looking for another series to watch. Have watched Dexter, Lost (twice), Breaking Bad, and a couple others..........

azgreg So weird that I've never made it past the halfway point in two tries. For some reason it doesn't grab ahold of me and I just lose track and lose interest. If you like weird, Holy Motors is a weird one that I did manage to finish.

I just powered through it. Hopefully I won't make that mistake again. Too bad though as I'm usually OK with a cult classic.

City on a Hill on Showtime (and currently free on Prime) has some potential. I've only watched one episode but Kevin Bacon is great as a sleazy FBI guy.

I checked it out based on your rec. Man, I only watched a few minutes, but he sure looks different and is sleazy. Didn't want it on with the kids around. Way too much bad langauge is a turn off to me.

Just watched the first 3 shows last night of the Lost Pirate Kingdom. I like historical stuff like this. Turns out one of the infamous Pirates of that golden age of pirates was Black Sam Bellamy from Eastham MA. (Cape Cod).

They're just getting into the most famous Pirate ship the Wydah which sank off Cape Cod (Wellfleet) in 1717. It wasn't discovered until 1985 by Barry Clifford.

Clifford opened a museum on Cape Cod (West Yarmouth) with Wydah artifacts and a life size replica of the Wydah.

Sneakylong I had high hopes but then the narration started....been several shows I've tried to get into and end up giving up as the format bugs me for some....might have to try and stick with it. If I can do subtitles I can do this!

You could turn down the volume and turn on closed caption. Maybe that wouldn't bother you as much. lol There's been such a stereotype for Pirates. They were much more democratic than anyone else at that time.

For example if the crew didn't like something they could vote on it and majority ruled. Even if they wanted to vote for a new Captain. And it amazes me how they could communicate so fast given how far and any communication had to travel.

We'll watch some more of it tonight.

I started Ray Donovan, but they only allowed me to watch the 1st episode for free. HATE that!!!!!! Made me want to re-download KODI.

Did it make you cuss like Kevin Bacon's character? 😂 Never been a fan of his but I did like "The Following" and he was in that.

Toulon Ray Donovan was so good I did pay for a couple seasons of that. Then Prime was offering a month of Showtime free so I finished it off and Billions, too.

Hulu - 1) Brockmire (but don't bother with season 4), 2) Letterkenny, and 3) Killing Eve. And re-watching Boston Legal - always enjoyed its quirkiness.

Is this the British or American version? I saw it on Netflix some time ago, and it was the British version. I heard the American version wasn't near as good. Really enjoyed that one.
