Foyles War, Peaky Blinders. The Netflix movie choices suck. Never seen so many B movies and B actors in my life

Stranger Things on Netflix...highly recommended

The other series I watch are scattered out on other networks...'Turn-Washington's Spies' which is done by AMC, 'Homeland' on Showtime (we wait until the season is done then binge watch with a 'free trial') and my favorite, 'The Man In The High Castle' from Amazon.

If you're into superhero stuff Daredevil is good. Jessica Jones was pretty good too. For action, The Punisher is great but graphic.
I just started Godless and it's good so far. Stranger Things is a great show, especially season 1. Although probably considered a chick show I thought Orange Is The New Black was good.

I’m all caught up on Stranger Things and Walking Dead, too. May have to take another look at Sons of Anarchy. Maybe it was my mood at the time, but I didn’t even make it thru the 1st episode. Ozark and Godless look appealing, may have to binge watch......

    Off top of my head,

    Mindhunters
    Peaky Blinders
    The Fall
    Shameless
    Turn
    Penny Dreadful
    Broadchurch

Through my Apple iTunes subscription - I anted up for Showtime/HBO.

Watched Band of Brothers for like the 4th time last week, while also finishing up Stephen E. Ambrose's book, "Band of Brothers" - which chronicled the events of WW2 per the series. It was a nice mesh between the book written and the series that was directed afterward. The book (as well as the series itself) leaves me wondering if there will ever be a greater generation of Americans who would participate in such a calling.... leaves me feeling very thankful to be an American, despite the warts and all.

Currently re-watching the Sopranos for like the 4th time.... one of the greatest series ever imo... the fact that I would watch it a 4th time, given all of the other bullshit on primetime television, or Netflix for that matter - indicates just how great that series was.

Reading "Whitey Bulger" currently, by Kevin Cullen and Shelley Murphy (a few years old). Enjoyed the movie, but the movie doesn't do the book justice imo.

It's been a great read thus far.

      1) DARK
      2) GLITCH

DARK is the best show that's ever been on Netflix with Glitch not far behind. Can't wait for Season 2 of DARK, and 3 of Glitch.

PA-PLAYA band of brothers is phenomenal!

The Pacific also good if you haven't watched it.

Toulon into episode 3 of glitch.... interesting, will continue to watch!

PA-PLAYA Merry Christmas!, PA and Happy New Year, too!

I was remiss in not including, "Ascension" as a show worth watching. I was disappointed that ended so abruptly. The concept was brilliant.

Also, Making A Murderer and The Keepers ...riveting docs.

Oh, I keep having things pop in my head...13 Reasons Why...was sobering. Another cool but morbid concept. Very jarring.

Bloodline was also one of Netflix best. Season 1 was tremendous. Entire thing was very good but they didn't save their best for last.

Manhunt was a compelling show from beginning to end. It was a catch me if you can thriller. I learned a lot about the Unabomber. Love those series based on true stories. Reminded a little of, Argo...that kind of feeling throughout.

Absentia is on foreign versions of Netflix. Not sure when that one is coming to US, but that's another dark mystery show that I couldn't stop watching. No season 2 as it tied up nicely.

I recently finished, Wanted...a very slow starter but I kept watching and felt rewarded at the end. A little Thelma and Louisey.

Shooter was good. A nice government conspiracy Rambo-esque thriller.

The 4400 is still on Netflix...good stuff. Too bad they took away, Prison Break...that was one of the most enjoyable rides on Netflix.

Just got done going through my account history ... Loved, The People vs. OJ Simpson, The OA was good. Didn't care for American Vandal and liked many already referenced.

          Toulon

The Keepers was good, the layers in that story are truly breathtaking....couldn't stop watching....almost tough to watch.

If you like stupid humor, and don't mind checking your brain at the door watch The Windsors on Netflix.

Stranger things I'm gonna start watching.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but I just finished Ozark and it was pretty darn good.

"Our Souls at Night" is a 2017 Jane Fonda and Robert Redford fun flick.

"The Homesman" was different. Takes a couple unexpected turns.
