  • What Are Your Favorite Wedges - Component Or OEM?

Been baggin Indi Stingray (yeah they’re illegal) wedges for over a year now. The ATK grind just works for me in any lie. I know they’re kinda pricey for most of you bastages, but if you ever get a chance to try one just do it.....

Is there a DTG discount code? Anybody??

I’ve got them and they’re the best wedge head I’ve ever used.

Just for shits and giggles I put 2 in the cart... seem to be on sale...

no codes and they usually won’t give discounts on heads that are on sale (if you’re looking at the 431 head).

if you call them they’ll give you the old FGI discount (10% off) on the Felon heads.

My favorites right now are Cleveland CBX Full Face wedges. They seem to work for me. My favorite component wedges were the original Snake Eyes that Golfsmith had. I can't remember what they were called though. I still miss a lot of the Snake Eyes stuff.

I've got them too ... in 54° and 60°. No complaints at all.

        Same here.
Currently still playing the last good wedge they made (imo) which is the 685 BX.

fatshot Yeah, I got on the DTG site and found they still had those DG-15 heads, only 48 *, which I didn't have. I will now, this week sometime. I did buy a set of the newer 431 heads also to build for the grandson.

colej the 431 look like they have quite a bit of relief on toe/heel/trailing edge vs. the chrome mist/shadow 2.0. Also looks like 431 has a straighter leading edge, but ??

Eguller What is the Buzzzzz on the new Maltby TSW wedges ?

I've found the TSW great on mid & full shots, but I get very little spin on chips. I had the RTX4 before that, and those were just the opposite...check for chipping, but too much spin on full shots. I think I need to carry 10 wedges.

I think the bounce was 10 degrees on the 58 which makes me question how it sits.... is the leading edge raised up because of it!

The modeo wedges look nice for $25. They are similar to the avatar wedges.

Another wedge comparison pic. Top is a 48° Inazone Microgroove and the bottom one is a 50° Acer XB Satin.

At address the Microgroove looks huge compared to the XB.

Sparky I think I need to carry 10 wedges.

Ha, right now I likely have close to 10....different grinds and bounce for different seasons and conditions

have 5 in the bag but my scoring is the best in years so not likely to change as short game is a big reason for that. Sometimes I carry 15 but in comps obviously not and drop one of 4iron, 3hybrid or 4wood depending on the course being played.
