puttnfool I can't imagine why you feel the need to try (and fail) to pick apart such docile statements as "I go for it on every shot," beyond an extraordinary level of insecurity and inadequate self worth.

I take his statement to mean that he's swinging as hard as he can on every shot. Neat. Maybe he feels like he is, maybe he really is, maybe he's not. What difference does it make to you?

You come off like an insufferable asshole on this board. I remember being eleven years old and being argumentative about trivial things, but then I turned twelve, and then several more years passed. Grow up. It happens naturally for most of us, but I think if you try hard you can still do it.

Share a thought, or opinion. Observe the thoughts and opinions of others. Discuss, reflect, go on with your life as you see fit. Stop giving men, Americans, golfers, Republicans, and every other demographic you represent a bad name. It is not helping any of your many, many causes.

ZWExton I'm not trying to help out any causes. When I smell bullshit, I say something. If I'm wrong and it's not bullshit, usually I'm ignored. If I'm right and it is bullshit, the offender usually is butthurt and tries to save face. I love interacting with people. It's fun.

      puttnfool When I smell bullshit

Where is/was the bullshit? I made a statement based on truth and fact. But you would never know that. I can give you a fine example of bullshit......that would be this post......

At first, I actually fell for it like the others. Then I realized how deep you were spreading it and got out.

At this point, I'm starting to feel sorry for you. For you, being who you are, and what you are/want to be. Sad.

puttnfool Now who's got the thin skin?

Send me your address. I've got some picture books to send you. Easy to follow.

Par4QC I don't have thin skin, it's just irritating trying to talk to someone who tip toes around like they're fuckin' afraid to answer a question. Then, even when they answer you have no idea if it's true because they have a tendency to embellish and exaggerate more often than not.

Par4QC I've never been able to "go for it"

Par4QC So, YES, I do 'go for it' on every hole.

I'm not sure if you're a legend in your own mind or you have Alzheimer's, but you need to get your story straight before you start spoutin' out bullshit around here.

Now, go back there and edit those posts to try to hide the Alzheimer's. I have the screen shots to post for you to give your doctor.

Some of this back and forth seems to be based on what is meant by "go for it". In my earlier post I mentioned that sometimes I play conservative, low-risk course-management strategy ("smart") and sometimes I play high risk, low percentage golf. To me, the latter is "going for it". It depends on what is at stake, where I am playing, how tight the course is, the format, etc. My best scores are typically when I am playing "smart".

Steve, this is how I interpreted your post. What you posted had nothing to do with how this thread progressed as it did. Some people just like to argue and and stir things up.

I know. That shit drives me nuts!
