I have the opportunity to pick up a set of either:
Nike VR-S Covert 2.0
Wilson Staff C100
Cleveland CG7 Gold
all 5-AW, after reading reviews about these clubs they all rate very well but the Nike has the best distance and dispersion, the Wilson the best workability and the Cleveland the best feel (soft) on all ball strikes.
Any opinions about these irons?

I am a feel player, which is why I play PING. I don't want it to feel like I am hitting a rock, just smooth as butter. From those selections I would probably opt for the Clevelands. Distance doesn't mean a thing in irons if you aren't comfortable in hitting it.

All that said, test them all if you can, and pick whichever set feels the most comfortable to you. That's the most important thing. Comfort to you.

I don't know a lot about all these sets.
Looks would be where I would start, and shaft would be the final and decisive factor.
Just based upon what I know, the Covert.

        5 -AW,
I'd assume from the set up you'll need the most forgiving design.
As potbunker stated, the shafts makes the set. find the shaft to your liking and you're good to go.

Hey Steve! Speaking of shafts... cough:check your emails from me:cough

The only feel you get from a Ping is the sting in your wallet. 🙂

I pick the Wilson C100 irons, they should look good with my Never Compromise wedges and Milled Series putter. Everything will be black and grey in my bag.
