I decided I wanted different sticks. I've been playing my refinished Golfsmith Tour Cavities for a couple years now, and just decided I wanted to have something else. Being a fan of old Cleveland stuff, and having played the gunmetal ta-5s years ago, I ended up grabbing a set of ta-6s to try. Should be here in a day or 2, but might be next spring before I'm able to get them on the course. We'll see.

I always have a set of Eye 2 irons to come crawling back to. The Eye 2 wedges stay in my bag. W, SW, LW.

I've never hit the Eye 2s either. I've actually always wanted to try a set of the original S2H2 irons, before the berthas came out.

Once you adjust to the offset/look of the Eye 2, the performance will spoil you, The short irons are point and shoot and give you high shots that stick.

I just saw a nice set of S2H2 irons at a Play It Again Sports - rare.

Got a set of s2h2’s, might have to throw a set of grips on and give them a go

Still looking forward to taking these sticks out. I really liked the ta-5s I had years ago. And with the v.a.s. system they used, and shoving some pro-softs down the shafts, I'll get some of the vibes out that my elbows don't like. I could also use grips that would help absorb vibes also. Not as much as my graphites, but shouldn't be bad, either.

My green dot Eye 2 irons have foam inserts and Winn Excel jumbo grips. It's damn near as soft as graphite and the weight of the ZZ Lite shafts feels good.

I'm going to put my FST Pro 125s in them and shove some ProSofts down in them, too. Figure that combo, maybe even some Winns or some Chamois grips, and I'll have the vib issues I have with my elbows taken care of. And since I don't play as much as I used to when I had the elbow issues, that can only help my elbows...

If you are seriously looking for a set of S2H2, I have a set of uniflex steel.....cheap. part of my Potbunker Mega sale listed here.
