3 rounds. Down from 6 last year. Now that would be less, wouldn't it?
The first was a scramble where I lost 7 balls (all new) off the tee. Six were big slices with the big stick. Hmmmm, a slice has never been my miss. So I drank myself into oblivion 6 straight nights, one for each banana ball lost. On the 7th day, I rested. Not really, but makes for a good story.
Thankfully I got most of that resolved (never gave up beer) and posted a 88 and 90, if I remember correctly.....fewer brain cells maybe? A few misses that cost me but mostly no short game........zilch.....not surprising. I did relearn how to launch a f/w and hybrid again....woo hoo.....and rediscovered my correct iron ball position. Every solid strike almost made me giddy. A great feeling I feared might be lost forever.
Big plus. I pulled out my broom from a 4 year retirement for 1 round. UNANCHORED!!!!! No practice before hand, just put me in coach. Touch was very good even from long range. Seemed like a long lost friend that never left the bag. Natalie the broom may return.
