Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter etc.. are hurting forums such as this one. Brian Manzella's site which was once fairly busy like FGI is dead also because he's moved to the social media sites like Facebook.

Also, what's popular now are these golf vlogs where golf enthusiasts can watch sometimes daily vlogs on equipment and teaching. It is what it is. I think they call it evolution. ๐Ÿ™‚

Spuzz OMG yes! And, he (gwog) would have pitched a royal fit with some of our discussions (and that includes some of my own contributions). Quite honestly, I had/have 'behaved' myself here for quite some time. Somebody opened up a can of worms and well... suffice it to say it's hard for me to sit still on some topics. (And, that's why I liked the old P&R sub-forum.)

Other than that, this has been a very, very down golf year for me. Although, I remain very hopeful for next year. I'd also be interested in those unnerwear commercials except my adblock prevents their viewing. LOL

Wouldn't the judgement of your behavior be better performed by those who are reading and perceiving your posts?

professor suffice it to say it's hard for me to sit still on some topics.

Is that an admission that you can't control yourself?

Only if you say so. But, then you wouldn't know how many times I've held my tongue now would 'ya?

sdandrea1 Is that an admission that you can't control yourself?

No. Admission that at times I don't want to.

Thank you. People used to ask questions back in the day and seemingly enjoy the answers. I don't know when that changed. Hope everyone is well and that you guys had a great golfing summer. After literally breaking my back 10+ years ago I was able to play for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Scared to death after 4 surgeries. Actually couldn't find all my clubs or a bag. Bought 18 balls right off the golf shop counter, a bag of tees and stumbled out there..... Still taking aspirin. hahaha

I just answered your questions. I'm not looking for credit. Just looking to set the record straight. I fully realize that 'chatting' on an internet forum is no accomplishment. Sometimes being nice is expected. Sometimes, people need to hear some differing viewpoints. Life's boring without some spice. ๐Ÿ™‚

Rickochet Those would be the PC 3.

PC3 did not have blue on them. Maybe the PC3 plus, but not the originals.

I noticed that Hireko done away with their forum/blog spot on their website. Canโ€™t quite figure why when the economy tanked in 08 the component industry being the economic alternative for golf clubs didnโ€™t benefit.

Tinker It's because when the industry & economy tanked, the prices of used OEM clubs dropped like a rock. And they have stayed there. Now, you can get a 1-2 year old used driver with a pretty solid shaft in it for LESS than it costs to buy/build a brand new component driver. Or a used set of irons for less than it would cost to buy a good quality set of heads & shafts and build them yourself.
