Par4QC Well, I've have/had hit both, so I know it was a correct statement.

My mileage varied. I've owned both and the G30 paled in comparison.

      Never hit any other Ping driver than the G400. I wanted a Max, but not badly enough to spend the 💲. Gonna take a lot to convince me that I can do much better than the G400.

      sdandrea1 I really want to try one of the newer iterations of the G LST, but it flat out works. Sound/feel is about the only box it does not check, but even that is fine. G30 on they all look about the same. I know there are some.subtle differences with the turbulators .... But the footprint seems similar. I have not had the 425 in my hands, but have held the g30, 400 max, 410plus, and my G LST.

        Golf_ghirl is getting great results with a 410 SFT, Alta CB55 shaft. It was lying around the pro shop when the new 425s landed so he let it go for £250 (£400 new). Her improvement is marked, her fade much less signifcant and her distance gains impressive.

        I kidnapped it one night for a few holes and it's so easy to hit, and a fairway finder with a pretty little draw for me. Not any longer than my current setup (Cally Razr Fit Extreme with regular 65g Axiv shaft ). If I go after the 410 for more distance the pretty little draw can turn into a vicious hook, but with the right shaft for me ... STOP IT! He doesn't have any more in the pro shop.

        I've played the G30, G, and G400 all in the SFT model and they're all very good. Still have the G SFT with a UST Mamiya shaft and could put that in play and shoot the same scores.

        Eguller I had that one too. It was their first ever Low spin model. It did sound clunky. Also there were complaints that spin was too low from it. I agree with that, I had it before my 2016 M2.

          Graz I've heard/read that the HZRDUS Yellow is good for the golfer with a downward attack angle .... Allowing for a little better launch and less spin. I've used the 75 in a Cobra LTD and it is a really good shaft for me.

            The G400 SFT has been a bit hot and cold for me. Could be because I went 45" instead of my usual 44.5". Also not sure the HOF Express shaft is as stable as the Accra FX370 I normally use. It was working last night in league though. I was tied going into 18 and my opponent hit a drive dead center. I crushed one up the hill about 270 (that's crushed for me) and only had a LW left. I won 😁

              Picked up an SFT head and took it out yesterday. I traded the one I had for the MAX a year or so ago, and yesterday confirmed that was a mistake. SFT is so money. I'm a fanboy like @sdandrea1 now for sure.
