Sneakylong Fox News is dredging up this old debunked Russian uranium story as a diversion tactic.

It was the New York Times that published an update on it early last week and Fox ran with it, as did some foreign news outlets. #1 - they originally published a lengthy report on it in 2015 and blew the cobwebs off of it because of #2 - A former FBI informant that was embedded in the uranium dealings finally came out of the dark side and found an attorney to represent him. Under the previous administration's DOJ, they had him sign a Non - Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that he couldn't divulge any details about what he had learned. A federal judge last week ruled the NDA was invalid if he testified before Congress.

I did find it humorous that of the 'left leaning media' there was an incredible amount of space given to Flake's speech deriding Trump but not one column inch given to the intelligence insider trying to testify.

    The team, of the hopeful Republican running for the nomination, who first hired Steele came up with nothing. Interesting when the Clinton campaign team channeled millions to Christopher Steele he suddenly had all this information for his dossier.

    So after all this time and the spending of 10's of millions of taxpayer dollars to investigate these allegations we discover it was the Clinton campaign using a foreign spy to bring us fabricated dirt.

    Sneakylong You failed to mention that it was a Republican (working for another candidate) that originally hired Steele to do opposition research. But when Trump won the nomination they dropped it. The law firm affiliated with the DNC and Clinton campaign then picked it up and paid Steele to keep investigating.

    It looks like the WaPo has now changed their story: "But as the Washington Post itself reports, the dossier did not exist until after the Democrats hired Fusion GPS".

          candukid First of all, I don't have a 14 year old daughter. Second, my daughter doesn't ride the bus. Third, I have instructed all my kids to never become a victim. Always, always, always defend yourself when wronged. Fourth, you don't have to feel sorry for me. I'm in the best position I've ever been in my life. I live in the greatest country in the world and I just moved to one of the only two states who had every county vote Republican in the last two (and maybe three general elections). I could go on, but you're not getting the point anyway.

            candukid consent comes into play with minors.....although there are a lot of dipshits that think it's ok if an adult female has sex with a teenage boy, yet don't see the assault, power and control, and damage done as a result. To me that scenario gets at the heart of the double standard. Everyone wants to imagine the hot teacher, blonde bombshell with that skirt breaking in junior, but that isn't reality, not by a long shot. Hard to imagine a scenario where junior wouldn't want it, right? Jr, can't say no, not only because of age, but also because this person knows.jr won't say no because the authority they hold....apply this to just about any scenario minor or not.                         puttnfool lol, yes, like when I'm asked if I want a copy of my receipt by the grocery store attendant, I say no....or when the abuser asks if it's ok to .... Like Harvey W. Or Bill O. or Bill C. (I suspect he never asked) or add a name in here is asking for sexual favor, see I can expect a result, not always the case when the victim says no. Big difference when you are just out a receipt vs. the very livelihood you depend to pay the bills or whatever your livelihood at that time depends on, a bit harder to say no.

                            ode Basically, what it boils down to is that some people have moral lines that they won't cross (i.e. sleeping with someone for job advancement) and some people don't. Maybe the reason you don't understand that is because you'd sleep with someone to get ahead. Me, personally, I'd rather not.

                              candukid There's no real comparison to a 14 year old on a bus and a grown woman hanging out with billionaires in a social setting. But now I'm curious. What happens to the 17 year old boy? Jail time? Lifetime record as a sexual predator? Can I beat the crap out of him for assaulting my daughter? Not ever allowed to run for public office? Sue his household for emotional damages? Tie him to a lamp post and let the females in the municipality kick him in the crotch repeatedly?

                                  I don't think he allowed it (hypothetically). Just a random high schooler planting one on your baby girl without her consent. That would surely make me mad, but from a legal perspective I don't think it means anything. Again, far different than a woman allowing a rich man to ogle her.

                                    ode we have had your senario play out here, where I live and you/I know damn well that that kid was pounding his chest to his buddies (fact).... until it went "wrong". Is it right? hell no, but I doubt the majority of teen boys/men would see it as such.... until it went wrong. Men/boys are different than women/girls. It's an apples and oranges comparison and you know it. The man would be locked up for a long time, the woman, not so much. That's the fact as it has happened. I have a 13 yr old in this school system and it scares the hell out of me. That dude would die if I had the opportunity, most would pat the boy/man on the back and say "atta boy!".
                                    I would tell you about a plot between 3 girls against my daughter that got her an in school suspension at the ripe old age of 10, but you probably can't comprehend. I backed my daughter 100% and just in the past couple weeks, the 3 came clean that it was all made up. I want to go to the school and beat the hell outta the asst principal, but my wife wants me to let it go. Young bitches can be and are EVIL. These girls live within stone's throw and I want to confront the parents of the 1 child who concocted the story, but once again, I have to live here for now. I want to choke out a 43 yr old mother AND a 13 yr old girl. Call me what you will. I have and still see the change it's caused in my daughter and because I don't fuck these people up, I feel I have failed my child. I hate myself for this and always will.

                                        You know what else FUCKING pisses me off? My kid now wants to hang out with these little bitches. My wife says "let it go". Fuck her and them. They're scared of me and deservedly so. I'm glad! Maybe they'll not make the same mistake twice!!! I so want to bring the law into the issue.
