Since we've determined the value of the 4 iron of $100, I have my 4 iron available
Wishon 870Ti iron heads
I can top that with a 4-iron AND a 3-iron..........
Damn it, I don't need irons and I would have bought those instantly. GREAT price. The irons are point and click, easy and LONG. The only reason I don't still have them in my bag was i didn't dial in the short irons well, I'm sure it was more fit ( or my damn brain getting in the way) than anything. I have considered buying a 3 iron and using it off the tee as a safe club, but now I got a couple of hybrids for a safety net, so it's less concerning.
I'm still in shock over here about this deal.
Just shipped USPS Priority. Should arrive Monday. Thanks and good luck.
That is one hell of a deal because these are increasingly hard to find. If more folks knew about Wishon........
Does anyone know why Wishon took these out of production considering how popular they seem to be? My dad plays them and really likes them. I hit his four iron a couple of time the other day at the ranage and couldn't believe how far I hit them and how nice they felt.
To make room for the 771CSI irons. The 771's replaced the 870's in other words. Tom is big into adjustability and the 870's are tough to bend. He says the 771 is as long as the 870, easier to bend, and a slightly smaller head. I saw a chart one time where they compared all of Wishon irons being produced at that time, and the 870 was a full 9 yards longer than the next longest. This was at high altitude with all 5-irons at 75 mph swing speeds, I believe. The lofts were all similar. I'll see if I can find that chart......
JeffTilley Thanks, Jeff. No need to find the chart unless others are interested. I'm in the process of creating a new thread that discusses easy to hit clubs, and you're information about the 771s is relevant.
I was wrong, they were 4 yards longer than the irons they replaced......

I got the clubs today Ed. Damn those club heads are huge. Thanks for the deal!
I am glad you are happy with them. Play with ball position for a while. You will find the best setup.
I made a deal with the devil. In return for moving stuff out of my wood shop to make room for a new festool track saw and a Dewalt planer I had to reduce my golf storage in our other room. So 5 bags with full sets went to charity, 2,000 used balls went to the HS team and I will be putting a bunch of drivers for sale here soon. NHL banners, a quality dumbbell rack, golf shoes, old hockey gear all had to go. I am hiding 150 new shafts under the spare bed.
Desperate times, desperate measures and your good luck.
