Building some Hybrid clubs using a .370 hosel. Opinions on using Graphite Hybrid shaft vs Graphite Iron shaft would be appreciated. The clubs will be single length 4 hybrid to pw hybrid...tia...

Assuming you are building a SL hybrid set. Either could work, what you need to pay attention to with a hybrid specific shaft , is they are meant for 2, 3, 4 hybrids. The SL sets seem to be 6, 7, 8 iron weight/length so they will be quite a bit heavier then what most hybrid shafts are intended for. IMO it will be easier to get the tipping correct with an iron specific shaft. If you do use a hybrid specific shaft, make sure there is enough PTS to play with.

It would help knowing what heads you are using and the shafts you are considering.

Heads are the single length Integra Hybrid that Aaron has at Value Golf. Have not decided on a shaft, as yet. Was considering the Matrix MFS 58 iron shaft but got to thinking....any suggestions accepted...I've spoken to Dave Tuttleman about the single length hybrid concept but not about shaft type. Would a Senior flex no matter what I end up with.

I agree with ode -- easier to get the trimming right with iron shafts and you probably have more choices. Many of the hybrid shafts tend to be a bit more flexible at the tip to help get the ball in the air -- something you probably won't need with anything other than the 4 and maybe the 5.

This will be an interesting project...look fwd. To the details of what u end up with/build....and if course pics. And I would stick with a known commodity for a shaft.
