Assuming you are building a SL hybrid set. Either could work, what you need to pay attention to with a hybrid specific shaft , is they are meant for 2, 3, 4 hybrids. The SL sets seem to be 6, 7, 8 iron weight/length so they will be quite a bit heavier then what most hybrid shafts are intended for. IMO it will be easier to get the tipping correct with an iron specific shaft. If you do use a hybrid specific shaft, make sure there is enough PTS to play with.
It would help knowing what heads you are using and the shafts you are considering.
