Glad you're safe and sound, Sneak. A little debris cleanup - you would've taken that deal Saturday morning, I'm sure.
My buddy and his wife, who moved to Orlando back in June, heeded the evacuation warnings and left to come back up to the Northeast back on Wednesday afternoon. It's typically a 17-hour drive... it took him over 30 hours to make it up here. He said it took him over 2-and-a-half hours to drive the first 30 miles Wednesday afternoon, and still fought enormous traffic congestion much of the trip.
He was hoping to leave to go back to Orlando today, but found out that they are still without power, and might not have power restored before the weekend.
But... he's remaining hopeful that his house/property wasn't impacted too much. Early reports are favorable, although obviously he doesn't know for sure.
