COSTCO K-Sig - Titleist suing!
If the ball is inferior, what is Acushnet worried about? Did Solheim sue all the Eye 2 knockoff makers? It's ponderous!

Meh. Can't get 'em. Don't really give a flying rat f**k about 'em. It's not like I can't afford to play a premium golf ball that I can actually walk into a store or pro shop and get then and there.
Costco can kiss my ass.
Been playing them past few rounds and am incredibly impressed. very long ( I've hit more 300 yard plus drive in past few rounds than I've hit in years) great feel and stops on a dime. ......it's likely just a great fit for me.
I've used the ProV1 and X in the Same rounds to compare and for me the Ksig is better in all regards , again likely an issue of fit.

That's awesome. Always good to find a ball that you have ultimate confidence with.
I just don't see them worthy of 2+ hours of my life spent waiting in an online queue, competing against the idiots buying bulk, who think they can get $50/doz on eBay, as if it's a must-have Black-Friday item.
My time is more valuable than that, personally.

I wonder if Costco bought the patent for their Siganature golf balls from SM Global. Or, did they just buy the over runs and had the Kirkland Signature and identifying marks imprinted? I guess the assumption can be made Costco now owns the patent, thus why Acushnet is suing for patent infringement along with the false advertising claims. To further solidify the argument Costco is 'all in', I haven't read where they have sought to dismiss that part of the suit (yet).
Pending the outcome of these lawsuits, the formula for these balls is worth a gold mine based on the golfing publics' perception of the quality of the ball and performance.

Remember when Titleist was sued by Callaway for patent infringement with the ProV golf ball? Callaway had purchased Top Flite (as I remember) and Titleist had ignored Top Flite using patents held by Top Flite in the manufacturing of the ProV, because they knew they were in financial difficulty. I suspect Titleist had planned to buy Top Flite as they went into bankrupcy, but Callaway acquired Top Flite and its patents. Callaway sued because the ProV infringed on 4 patents held by Top Flite, then the legal property of Callaway.
That law suit went on for 6 years and was finally settled, but the settlement was never disclosed. Rumor was that Titleist settled by agreement to share patent rights it held with Callaway in other areas of golf ball production. Now Titleist is seeking to stop Costco from marketing a ball produced by a third party in South Korea. I wonder if the actual manufacture of the ball for Costco has acquired its rights from Callaway. Costco has marketed golf balls and golf equipment for Callaway and SM Global was also involved with Callaway.
O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive!
After this is all over, the K-sigs will probably go the way of the 3M Greptile golf glove. That is, can't be found.
