Troy Mullins = good looking swing, does not look ld at all.
Also easy on the eyes!
Crazy how Carlborg went down to Meti, like her ball hit pavement and bounded forward
ode Sandra failed to take notice of that right side. The balls bounced sky high and rolled forever when hit there. In the prelims, the guys advancing were using it. Meti was using a 10.5° driver, they said, so she got an extremely lucky break hitting that area, with as high as she was hitting that ball. Otherwise, she was getting no rollout.
Pretty weak showing in the Men's final, only one ball in the grid out of 16 shots.
Not exactly home run derby excitement for the casual LD tv viewer!
These guys needed to make swing adjustments on the fly,and they just don't seem to do it sometimes.
The women seem to have more traditional golf swings. They also hit the ball straighter than the men.
It's not as easy as it looks to put a square strike on a ball when you are swinging for all out speed with a 48" (usga standards) driver. I have done some low level contests and you get pretty jacked up to try to kill it, doesn't work as well as a "normal" swing that's for sure.

How often do we do that on the course?
I know I have needed to, but never seem to as I think about the swing issues more after the round is over and during, I only think about the results.
