I have never ordered any Hireko products. There are many of them that are of interest to me, but I've never been in the position to order them. Right now I would absolutely love to try the Prophet CB and MB Blades; they look really interesting. But I just opened a couple of packages of heads and irons I bought from a member on this site and all I can say is "WOW!" (The guy I bought these from must be thinking, "You're just opening these now?!" Well, it took me a long time to get down to the shipping spot in the US. I got a Wishon 919THI from a different member at the same time -- it looks equally interesting!)
First, I have to send out kudos to the guy who sent me these clubs (Scott Lubben) because he did an amazing job packing these things up. I think they would have survived a nuclear blast. But the heads themselves are really exciting. Some of them are FW and driver heads, which look interesting (even though I have given the feedback before that I don't think they should write Acer on the top of them), but it's the irons that have me absolutely floored. The XV Pros are really nice, with a nice thin top line and a really nice feel. But it is the forged Prophets that have me blown away. I have never had the same response to any set of irons upon unpacking them: they are beautiful! The thinness of the topline screams players iron, but the length of the face makes them look super playable. I can hardly wait to hit these things!
When I bought these I had every intention of testing them and then selling them to a friend (or using them as test set for potential clients). But now that I have them open, if they play anywhere near as good as they look, I'm afraid I might just have to keep them.
