Anybody try these, yet? I see that they're back ordered everywhere, so somebody must be using them..........

Thanks for the very helpful reviews Sparky. Looks like I'll be building a set of the PMBs or may still look at the Bstone JGR hybrid irons. The M2s will prolly get put on the for sale list soon. I was not too happy with them before, and then yesterday the face on the 5-iron collapsed. I had read a few horror stories about that and other bad things happening on the 1st gen M2s, but thought that perhaps TM had fixed those issues with the 2nd gen. Guess not. A friend of mine just put his Prophet CBs back in the bag over his TM RSI1s, and is putting his TMs up for sale. Must be something in the water........

I was looking this morning and it said they were low on a few, but others were fine. Crazy.

Ah, I was looking at heads only and the 7i is out of stock, 6, 9 and pw are low stock.

I finally got a chance to hit these. A friend of mine bought the heads and shafted them up with True Temper SL in stiff. I hit a few shots on course and had pretty good results. After the round we went to the range and I hit all of his set, 6-GW. I hit them all very well, good distance and good feel. I've decided I'm gonna buy a set of the heads and shaft them up with Project X95 6.0.

For the last couple of months, I've been alternating my Wishon 575mmc and the Prophet MBs.

Right now, the PMBs are ahead. The 575mmc is a better clubhead in all aspects, but the PMBs are more than competent. The kicker is that the PMB with the thinner face and the jacked up lofts means the same 4i-gw set covers 110-195 instead of 110-180. That gives me the ability to add either a 62* wedge, or a 3w, whichever fits the course best.

Ok, finally ordered some Muscle Blades after hitting my friends again. Gonna Shaft them up with FST 90 in regular flex. Ordered 4-GW, and a couple Juggernaut hybrids in case the 4 & 5 irons don’t work out for me. Also picked up a couple of the Acer XB wedge heads to try, gonna shaft those up with FST Hi Rev shafts. Bought all that from our man at Value golf. I’m lovin’ the discount! Also ordered a couple Aldila NVS Hybrid shafts from DTG to match my other Juggernaut fairways and driver. I’ll finally have an almost component bag minus the putter. My Scotty ain’t goin anywhere, it just keeps going from bag to bag.........

JeffTilley I have a 6i that I am demoing and like it and ordered the rest of the set (7-GW).....and received them on Wed., Along with the dynacraft driving iron picked to 22* which will fit in nicely lift wise, yep I'm going 3i straight to 6i😉.....now gotta figure out which shafts, hmmmmmm

I hate the D on the irons, they look like an A to me when in the bag. Looks like I have a whole set of Attack Wedges.
I have the Prophet CB's.

Is there any significant difference between the CB and MB? If so what? I have the CB and just wondering if I should try the MB?

CB is clunkier looking than the MB. Think super game improvement vs game improvement.

One of our members has a set of MBs he's willing to part with and it ain't me.

CB v. MB: Offset is significantly different. Other than that, it is the standard game improvement cavity back versus a GI blade - the CB is going to be more forgiving and launch a bit higher. The MB is more workable - but it isn't a forged blade with surgical precision.

Even my shiny new Wishon 550c with Matrix Kujoh 95 shafts was not able to beat out the MBs....although I think the shafts are the bigger difference than the heads (UST Proforce Tours @ 110gm in the MBs)

The next battle for the MBs has just been ordered. Mizuno JPX-EZ forged with PX-LZs shafts.

CB has a much wider sole and slightly thicker topline. There is some.sole relief on the MB's vs. virtually none to speak of on the CB's. Blade length is about the same IMO, but with all the other variables, the CB looks bigger! MB adjustable for loft and lie, CB is not. They feel and sound the same! I was pounding the 6i on the Sim today😎

It's been a while, let's move this up.

I am nearing a year with the PMBs. Being the ho that I am, I have given some other nice irons shots at knocking the PMBs out of the bag. Golfsmith P2, Wishon 575mmc, Mizuno JPX-EZ forged, Wishon 550c. The PMBs have survived. The "flexface" works, I am still getting impressive distance gains in the long irons. The 4 iron is the best performing long iron I've ever played, I love that club.

If you haven't noticed, Lynx UK has apparently gotten a very similar iron out of China that is really nice looking. I did contact Lynx to see if I could get heads - no. They do have a US distributor in Dallas Golf, so I contacted them. They do have some sets, but they are OEM priced. Hireko does have a new Juggernaut iron coming this month that looks like an update to the 2015 model Prophet CBs.

I've got some of the bargain Recoils from DTG en route. I may build another set of PMBs. If you unstick the badge in the back, there is a hole there....maybe put some speed foam in them. Zoom! 🙂

How much weight would filling the heads with expanding foam add? I would also be concerned with over expansion if it’s not done correctly, and possibly too much weight in the toe or heel area. Let us know how it turns out if you proceed.......

Not all expanding foams are created equal. Some will blow out your walls if you spray it in between the studs, others just stop expanding.

I still have that 5-pw P2 set, but with the substitute 6i La Jolla head. I need to pull them off the Rifle shafts. Do you want the heads for cost of shipping? I waited forever to find a 6i head, finally gave up on it.

Right, and that’s what I was getting at. Too much of the blow out your studs type and you may end up with bowed or displaced iron faces. Too little of the just stop expanding type and you may end up with toe or heel heavy iron heads. Trust me, I’ve considered doing this with my PMBs.

I do have experience with the blow out your studs expanding foam. My first attempt at using it didn’t turn out well for my new front door........
