Played 18 holes today with the new Grafalloy Disrupter shaft in my 9* Quantum Triple Diamond Max. Mine is the 50g R flex tipped 1/2” playing to 44.75” per my request from Aaron/Value Golf.
First swing on #1, I was impressed by how smooth the shaft is and feeling the kick of the shaft. Other than 1 bad drive today the Disrupter keeps the ball in play, no excess spin off the face either. I was alternating between a Vice Pro Plus and Srixon Z-Star 💎
I had a Mitsubishi Tensei White CK 50g R flex in the Quantum TDM. I’m gonna say the Disrupter has a smoother feel with a slightly higher ball flight. Just started experimenting with R flex 50g shaft in my driver. I had been playing the Tensei White AV Raw S Flex which has been my favorite shaft for several years. I still hit it with no problem but thought I go lighter, so far so good.
In a nutshell IMO, the Graffalloy Disrupter is a solid shaft with excellent dispersion, ball flight and feel. I’m happy I took the plunge, and thanks to Aaron to provide us with the opportunity to buy the shaft for a great deal!!!!
