Living up to its name, the Disruptor arrived this afternoon just as I settled in for a nice couch nap. The dogs made sure I was well aware the UPS guy came and were not going to let me nap without seeing what was left at the door.
Initial thoughts: A few swings in the yard, not hitting balls, the shaft feels pretty nice. I'll try and get out early next week to see how it works at the range compared to my current gamer (Aldila NV 2KXV Blue). I will say I am not that crazy about the graphics, or more specifically the location of the graphics. I like a clean view down the shaft at address and the primary graphics seem to creep down the shaft significantly more than most shafts. If you were to rotate the shaft so the primary graphics were on the back, you get a bright white on black 'Torsion Control' printed right near the tip that is now in sight. My preference would be to have both the primary and tip graphics to be on one side so this could be aligned to the back (out of sight). Better yet, don't print anything near the tip, I always thought this was a bad idea when I saw the Ventus do that with the Velocore branding. (I just noticed as I was taking pics, my Aldila has printing near the tip, but it is on the same side as primary graphics so I don't see either at address)
