First time out with the Disruptor 60-S today for 9 holes…

Dispersion = legit above average
Feel = mucho legit above average
Distance = tad longer and a touch less spin than HOF Code 5S I would say…and it seemed roughly the same distance as the Saga 60S but I like the feel of Disruptor better.

Looking forward to next outing with it…need to play around with tee heights & ball placement more in order to average out the trajectory just a tad lower maybe…

…there is something about the feel & pop of this shaft 🤔…also, the sound of the head at impact is noticeably different (for the better) which I really haven’t noticed as much with other shaft changes…interesting

Got my first round in with the Disruptor. Didn't get to the range first, so put it in play untested. Hole #1 was a straight 330 yards into a 1-2 club wind. With my normal drive 240-250 max, I was hoping for 230 into the wind. First drive was a rocket straight down the middle - got to it and it was 60 yards from the green. That got my attention.

Didn't have any other WTF moments after that, but after a really bad swing on #2, my driver was straight as an arrow, hitting every fairway after that. Distance was comparable to my gamer shaft. Really pleased with the Disruptor after day 1. Should get to the range and launch monitor early next week.

I recently tried the Disruptor 60S on the range directly against a Ventus Blue Velocore. Same Elyte head but Disruptor was ~ 1/2" longer. Both are stout and low hitting for me but also the straightest of anything I've tried lately. Too low hitting for me to maximize distance in the New England Spring but they would be great in the summer or the desert.

I honestly don't think my dispersion was more than 5 yards but seriously low bullets. Every swing was dead nuts straight. I feel like they might be great in a 12* head but I probably need an R flex in 10.5*. The Ventus was the straightest but it also was 1/2" shorter and the Disruptor was really close. Both felt stouter than any other S flex shafts I've hit recently and unless I get back in shape I probably wouldn't game either. I wound up playing a stock Callaway Denali R that night which was drawing more than I wanted but consistent (after I moved the weight) so I could play it.

Received my shaft a few days ago. Have it in my Cobra LTDx Max driver. Like the weight, like the looks. I have a slight case of OCD but not about the graphics on a shaft, so, graphics are up...Can't wait to get on the course to give it a go. Hopefully, Spring will appear sometime soon in Western Pennsylvania and the golf courses will get to dry out so we can use them.

Weather in WI has been less than desirable for golf related activities the past week, every time I would have had a chance to head out to the range it was either raining or very windy. Finally made my way out this evening and had to wait for a bay to open up (when did going to the range become something groups of people do on a Friday night???). Anyhow, this range had Top Tracer, so I decided to pony up the extra 3 bucks to see if I could get some actual numbers rather than just rely on my eyes. I hit about 20-25 balls with each, swapping shafts every 7-8 balls. Comparing the 60-s Disruptor to my gamer (Aldila NV 2KXV Blue 60-s) in my G400 Max 9* head, I was consistently getting 1-2* lower launch with the Disruptor which is a good thing for me. Carry distance and total distance with the Disruptor was just a few yards longer than the Aldila, dispersion seemed to be a bit better as well. I will say that there were a few terrible swings with both shafts that were rewarded with equally terrible banana slices. I will wait to make a final judgement on the shaft until I am able to hit non-range balls on a course, but so far The Disruptor is looking promising. I did not feel the 60-S played any stouter than what I expected.
I'll add that when hitting balls the graphics did not bother me, but I still am not a fan of them.

Played today and used Jake's Disruptor 60X shaft in my driver head, last 6 holes.(he was working)
Not much flex in that shaft for me, but still got same distances/ball flight/dispersion....absolutely straight....as I did with my R flex shaft. Kind of surprising. Not nearly as boardy as a LinQ X flex, for example. Really nice feel though, nothing firm/hard.

I'll order an R for myself. But I think Jake will love this shaft.

I got some range and launch monitor time in with the Disruptor.

For comparison, my gamer (Xcaliber Avalon 5 stiff) is about 8 grams lighter and also 1/4" longer. Results are as you might expect, the Disruptor gave 1-2 mph less ball speed and also about 200 rpm less spin.

I am hitting the Avalon great right now, so not going to switch it out just yet. The Disruptor will definitely get the call on a windy day, and will also be waiting for the Avalon to have a bad day.

I am impressed with the Disruptor though, the Avalon has beaten back many a competitor for a couple of years now and this is the first shaft that comes close.

Sparky I have an Avalon 6S and 7S and the 7S has been my gamer in the last 3 Callaway drivers. I found the Disruptor 6S to feel stiffer and launch lower but it was also straighter. The Avalon shafts are really nice especially considering how little I paid. Everyone always compliments the purple finish too lol.

Anyone know how this compares to the Grafalloy Prolaunch Super Charged ? That is what I currently play in my Tour Edge C725 driver.

Too bad all Avalon shafts are gone. Never did get a chance to try any of the Xcaliber stuff.

Shaft came yesterday, played this morning. NO warmup. First ball off the tee worm burner. Reload, high left ball ob. Second hole high right ob. Third hole 279 straight down the middle. After that it was lather! Rinse, repeat. Dang this thing felt good.

Took mine out for first time yesterday. Geezer flex Paired with a Cobra LTDx Max head. Really like the shaft. Gained a few yards of length but was mostly interested in dispersion. Impressed with this shaft... played 9 and hit 6 fairways. 2 holes are par 3's so only missed one fairway and that was first tee - went slight right in the short rough. At this point the shaft is a keeper and I'm thinking putting one in my grandson's driver - although not geezer flex. Will report more as I play more...Last week Western Pennsylvania had frost warnings and freezes and yesterday and today was approaching 90*...I guess we are skipping spring and going right to summer...

Second round with the Disruptor 60S today…it’s definitely a keeper and is staying paired with the DS Adapt Max-K…firmly in the bag.

Had a couple drives that I thought for sure were gonna be in the fairway bunker and both of them cleared the bunker by a good 10-15 yards…also was using a Maxfli Tour X ball for the first time. 🤔
