jsippy73 If you use our ZIP code it will show a # of options, but once I plug in our street address most of those go away. If we lived on the other end of town I could get fiber internet or AT&T 5G, but not on our road. Not sure why 5G would matter other than we are not close to a tower, but we do still get a signal. I did just get an email from Frontier that we may get fiber on our road soon.....of course they have said that every year for about 5 years now lol.

Costco has many in that price range. Timing is important though. Holiday Sales Rule.

I have used Vizio for years without issue. Bought a 55" from Costco for $400 a couple years ago.

YouTube TV is what we use. Dropped AT&T because of service and prices.

Typhoon i got 20 grand worth of stereo equipment hooked up to a tv that is never turned on...... going deaf blows. I can't listen to anything through the external mics. If it isn't streamed straight through to go around the filters i can't hear it. Heck most days i just watch with the subtitles on and take my aids out.

Needed hearing aids before that, but my 1st wife was always yelling at me so didn't need them.🤣
2nd wife made me want to hear her sweet voice, so I got them!!

I use Bluetooth wireless headphones for television. I can set the volume for me and adult supervision can listen to normal volume on sound bar…Everybody happy…

Birdsboro Ahhh… the old days…. I had all my stereo stuff hooked up with the tv. Giant speakers etc…. Of course I could listen to it when she was there. She hates surround sound etc.. just give her a transistor radio speaker.

That's me. My wife made me buy a sound bar. Never used. I couldn't tell you Dolby surround THX Bose from am radio.

Couldn't care less.

Wife hates my tower speakers with sub, receiver hooked in TV.
Have started looking for a soundbar. Looking for a all in one soundbar with some teeth, if they exist. I realize it will never match power of my present setup.

Rickochet i have several pairs of hearing aids. i have 2 tv's with the resound tv streamers attached. But my resound hearing aids have been replaced with Starkey's and i don't want to have to repurchase all the stuff again. Plus my comprehension (ability to understand words) is only like 10% anyway. I'm pretty much screwed at this point. Side note.... last year my friend asks me to go to the stones concert with him in Philly. I tried to beg off as i have a very hard time listening to amplified sound through amplified hearing aids to the point its pretty much zero comprehension. Anyway, he talks me into it and i figure what the heck right? So we are sitting there, he is rocking out and i am like i wonder what song that is......LMAO. Then i heard, "happy" and a few other hits. On the way home i was kinda bummed because they didn't play any of the "hits". Next morning i read the set list....... they played them all. LOL and i didn't know it. take care of your hearing folks.

I think wives are oblivious or just get annoyed by anything too loud. Even if you have setup that creates pristine sound and atmosphere for a movie. Unless you turn it on, they won’t use it and if it is it’s always too loud. Same thing in a car, the balance or tone is not right, which I can tell, they don’t notice it.

He has it in a small area of a large room. Preferred setup in his vacation home. If he had the couch and chairs spread out more than it would be better with a wider surround sound setup. In addition, his wife prefers less.

My wife hates HATES my Friday night music playlist. I play it fuuull bore on a big Aomais blue tooth speaker that's twice the size of my head. Have only had 1 neighbor complain. Eventually he shot his wife and blew his own head off. Lived directly behind me. TRU story.
