Can’t figure this one out at all. Very strange. Figured I’d throw it out here and see if anyone has any ideas where it came from.
Wife calls me and tells me our bedroom has an awful smell of Chlorine. We live in a split level ranch. Living room/ dining room and kitchen all one room. 3 bedrooms down the hall and a bathroom. I come home and the door is closed to the bedroom at the end of the hall. I open the door and Holy shit the Chlorine smell!!!!
No other rooms smell of it.
Bathroom drains don’t smell
Outside there is no smell
It’s not from the pool
The heating system doesn’t have any errors
The mini split is at the opposite end of the house so it’s not that.
We’ve opened the door and put on the ceiling fan so it’s ok but wtf? There are no cleaning supplies in our room. I checked under the waterbed for leaks, nothing. Stuck my nose around the liner of the bed, no smell….
Any ideas?
And yes, we still have our waterbed from the 1980’s
