Brian Manzella and Michael Jacob’s are now well known in the teaching world. Very technical. Big on terms like Alpha, Betta, Gamma and the forces in the swing etc.. He was one of the first to have a video explaining the D Plane for example.
He came up under the tutelage of Ben Doyle and The Golfing Machine. Then he started working with guys with doctorates (i.e. Dr. Steven Nesbit / kinematics etc.) and realized what really was happening in the golf swing. And went in another direction.
The problem with Brian Manzella is he’s a poor communicator. Very full of himself. He knows what he’s talking about though and it’s backed up with science. If you can understand it.
He had credibility when he first got noticed as having coached David Toms. FGI back then was very much of a clique. Go against anyone in the clique and expect the rath. He did and got run off. lol
Has done pretty well for himself though. He had his own forum for awhile before everything moved to social media like Facebook etc.. Yeah, I’d expect a lesson with him is pretty expensive.
